I agree that JT is similiar to Zab as far as being a 6 round fighter......but JT is way more MAN than Zab(no ****)......Zab wont EVER go out on his shield.....NEVER!!.....JT has...JT could've taken a knee and got the W against Froch.....but the MAN in him chose to stand up for as long as he could......Zab would've taken a knee like he did against Cotto!!

The kid isn't a closer. Lack of discipline, conditioning, etc. Froch just did what good boxers do, he seized an oppurtunity to take advantage of a spent fighter and fought every second of every round. He never quit. I felt really bad for Taylor, but you can't take ANYTHING away from Froch.

See because hopkins is kinda laid back and is a counter puncher. JT has troubles with guys who punch back hard and alot. Aggresive fighters like pavlik and froch beats JT 9/10 times. JT just doesnt have it mentally when faced with an agressive tough slugger who puts pressure.

Taylor was out-hearted by Froch. The skill, speed, and experience were all in Taylor's favor, while Carl had the power, chin, and HEART. Determination and willpower can overcome deficits in skill as long as the possessor has some form of skill themselves. Andre Dirrell has tons more speed, balance, and basic boxing skill than Carl Froch can ever hope for. But we don't trully know about his punch, chin, or more importnatly, his heart. This fight will tell us everything about Dirrell and should Andre come up wanting at the hands of Froch, than Mikkel Kessler walks away with this easily. It's the Dirrell/Froch fight that has the most intrigue for me in the first round and the sole fight I can't pick a winner.

I am curious what JT does once Abraham goes on the offensive. JT will be close after 2-3 rounds but once Abraham feels him out, it could be lights out by round 6 or 7. Carl Froch is not Arthur Abraham. Abraham should be the favorite to win this tourney.

Jermain best lay up with the excuses. I'm picking him to beat Abraham, but if he has to fight Kessler and Froch, he is going to get ktfo again. I never like to see credit taken away from a real fighter like Froch, so I'm hoping we see a second fight between them and Froch renders him unconscious again.

He looked in great form against Froch, he just couldn't close out the show as usual.

                    Hopkins ruined JT.
How? I saw both fights and B-hop barely touched him in both. If he is ruined which he may not be, Pavlik did it in their first fight. If he gets stopped this time then I agree he is done, because he has enough talent and skill as to where he should embarrass AA.

I'm really thinking about changing my pick to Taylor. Abraham is nothing special, in reality. I just think his power will bother Taylor and probably knock him out late, but it seems like Taylor has genuinely learned from his mistakes this time. I could be wrong again, but I'm starting to see Taylor winning this fight.
