I'm not calling you a liar, but I follow most of the news surrounding Taylor pretty closely and never read anything about him hiring a nutritionist prior to the Froch fight.

I have however read articles going back two months that he was working with a nutritionist for the first time in his career in his prep for Abraham.

He's made a lot of claims about previous training camps, but this is really the first camp for where his diet has been mentioned.

what a load of tripe from Taylor.

He could have taken Froch out if he was a decent finisher. Fact is JT you got TKO'd after having the fight in the bag.

This is probably the best way to describe what happened, except I wouldn't say Froch was on his way out.

Taylor's stamina problems are his own fault.

At the time they split, Steward was on the record saying he'd be happy to train Taylor again, including offering his advice to Nelson anytime he needed it.

Taylor went with Nelson as his trainer for the Pavlik rematch, partially because they felt like a change was needed in his corner, but also the fact that Steward had already committed to training Wlad for his Ibragimov fight which was had already been scheduled for a week after Taylor/Pavlik II. With Steward not being able to devote 100% of his time to Taylor for the rematch, it was only natural to find another trainer.

I love JT man. He's a sympathetic figure.

If he says it, I believe him. He's a solid southern god fearin' brother.

Besides, for a guy who wasn't 100% he still wouldve won that fight if he stayed up on the 12th.
