But the same applies for Usyk here, he knows full well Fury isn't going to be ready for the 23rd so refusing to budge on it is entirely him to blame.

If Fury came out unscathed and Usyk wouldn't budge on the date then that's a different story entirely. But the fight didn't go to plan, and we know he's not going to be ready for that date now.
At least we are in the agreement that Fury was ignorantly ****** to plan an exhibition prior to a legit boxing match, and was in such a bad shape to the point that he was way worse than both himself, his team, and his opponent thought he'd be. I actually don't think Usyk will seriously drop the chance to go for undisputed if it really doesn't happen on Dec 23rd, but this is more of a HAHA IN YOUR FACE EFFIN IDIOT LOLOL-type of moment that people are enjoying.

I mean, a totally comedic made up example...imagine a guy who was telling everyone in his office that he was going to sleep with a hot chick he picked up at a bar 3 days before his birthday. At the same time, he told all his co-workers that he had already threatened his wife that he'll divorce her if she were to complain and not spend time with him on his birthday. But then, after sleeping with the "hot chick" it turns out that she was actually a crossdressing male, and then the next day he found out the wife had a multi-millionaire uncle who adored her like his own child. Wife is unsurprisingly mad that he was cheating on her and had left the house. As a result, now the guy is getting "asked" by his co-workers with a smirk when he is planning to split with his wife who didn't spend time with him on his birthday.

Everyone knows that at that point the guy definitely won't want to divorce her, but they still act dumb and ask him when he's planning to follow up on his "threat". That is how pathetic all of Fury's antics looks like right now, and damn its funny if you look at it from the unrelated outside.

Let's point out here that Fury was also trying to force the date no matter what, and Usyk's team is just asking for proof of injury to move off the date. That's especially pointed because Fury himself is saying he's fine and ready to go... That's not the same as Fury's position before the fight. Usyk literally said he's got injuries lingering from HIS fight, and you were still blaming him for it. Now you've got Fury saying he's not injured, and you're still trying to blame Usyk for asking for proof of injury in order to move the date.

I suspect Usyk is just trolling Fury with his own words come back to bite him in any case. But you are awfully willing to paint Usyk in the worst possible light and believe whatever comes from Frank Warren and Fury, and it's pretty obvious to the rest of us that you're anything but the unbiased observer you pretend to be.

If he said he had injuries then that's a different story I wasn't aware of that. If Usyk had injuries and Fury insisted on the date then that would be Fury at fault just like it would be now if Usyk insisted on the date knowing Fury isn't ready for that date. It's the same on both sides.

Not really, as stated I've already took the position that Fury was at fault for the fight falling through this year so your bogus theory implodes there.

I'm willing to blame both depending on the situation. It's you lot don't and only ever blame one side. So it's in fact you lot that pretend to be unbiased when clearly are anything but.

I don't disagree again. Fury talking about sueing etc for failing the 23rd date was ****** and he looks like an idiot now he's not going to be ready.

I don't blame Usyk for rubbing it in, but if he does let the fight die due to the matter of a months difference knowing full well Fury isn't going to be ready until then it's obviously his fault. Anyone with any logical sense would have to admit to that but on here, clearly not.

He injured his elbows Rd 6 of the Chisora fight ( which is ironic because as I recall Fury also needed elbow surgery after fighting Chisora), and has had lingering issues ever since.

The interview that gave rise to the aforementioned article in which you said it would be all his fault if the fight fell through he said he needed the time to heal:

"Some wounds, old injuries need to be healed. Everything's under control."

That just says you didn't do your due diligence before you blamed him.

The reason some of us only blame one side is that Fury has been the issue the whole time. He had to be taken to court to honor his contractual rematch with Wilder (which scuppered an AJ fight). He had to have purse bids pushed back what, a dozen times for the Whyte fight. He screwed up the Usyk fight the previous time with all kinds of ****** demands (and I recall you blaming Usyk for that too at the time). That's not counting the fights that didn't get over the line with other contenders. The only fights he hasn't screwed up lately have been his voluntary cherry pick fights. He's got a LONG history of BS in negotiations. He even had a bunch of antics in the Klitschko fight, threatening to pull out at the last minute over the gloves and the ring both. The fact that you overlook all of that is yet more evidence that you're biased.

That's the equivalent to a fighter getting injured in camp and then saying they won't fight on a new date they'll only stick to the original one. It's ******, overtly dishonest and makes no sense.

Decemeber 23 was the date, IF Fury get's through the fight unscathed, which he clearly didn't and clearly won't be ready and everybody being honest with themselves knows it.

He's not going to be ready for the 23rd now so if there is to be a fight it has to be pushed back a month or two, which is totally reasonable, and doable. If it dies over Usyk insisting on a date that he knows full well isn't possible then how could it possibly be anyone else at fault?

Ok but isn't your argument that they signed for a 23rd fight already? So that tells me that Usyk signed for the fight with a pre-existing injury so that is a different situation altogether.

If he got an injury in camp and Fury still insisted on the date which is essentially what Usyk is doing now then that would be Fury at fault.

Again, not really. I held Fury at total fault for his bogus deadline nonsense with AJ and after facts presented I blamed him for the Usyk fall out this year. So it's just incorrect what you're saying.

Fury could have the longest history ever over nonsense negotiations it doesn't magically make it the case every time. You have to take it case by case.

You are arguing that a fighter who is refusing to budge on a date that he knows the other fighter won't ready for now is the other fighters fault. This now being the same date apparently that he himself said he might not be ready for due to injury.

How could that possibly make any sense to you?

Well then what are you arguing?

If Usyk budges on the date then that's perfect isn't it, as long as Fury holds his end the fight happens. WHICH IS WHAT HE SHOULD DO.

What's baffling here is how people in here trying to argue that he shouldn't budge from the date and let it die instead and then somehow blame that on Fury.

                  That's retarded.

No, my argument is that Fury was playing ****** games as he always does, and now Usyk is rightly making fun of him using his own words. The fight isn't going to happen on the 23rd, if it happens at all. Fury might implode it at the final moment pissing about ring size. He's going to try to push for a minimum size ring. I'm 90% sure he's going to try to make an issue about where Usyk wears his shorts, and probably about hand wraps too.

There's a big difference also that you KEEP ignoring. Fury was drawing a hard line. Usyk is just asking for documented proof of injury. Why you think that's unreasonable when Fury has a long history of lying AND says he's uninjured is just more proof of your bias. You're literally making up crap about refusing to budge on a date in a thread with the title specifically stating the requirements to move the date. Why are you incapable of seeing the difference between "prove your injury if you want to move the date" and "if you don't fight me on this specific date I'll sue you"???

fury thought he was going to have a bit of a walk in the park with ngannou and sail into usyk end of the year but now fury is a bit down, physically and certainly mentally, he probably needs a bit of time to get right, usyk says he wants to (for some reason, possibly crap) face the best fury well then just wait until early next year for the fight, just be happy u will get a shot at it, u may irritate fury and he can be unpredictable
