So the little guy is really the Monster like they say. Fulton was saying Inoue would feel his power but it didn't happen.

Phenomenal performance by Inoue. Moves up in weight to face the best fighter in the division, wins every round and gets a spectacular finish.

He's the best fighter p4p in the world. Spence and Crawford are fighting for the bronze medal. Only pro-american fans would say otherwise.

My original prediction was Inoue by UD. But Fulton from the jump came out scared. He looked completely lost and when he felt that power, Fulton knew he made a mistake.
That’s what I noticed the most, the absolute fear Fulton seemed to have. He never pulled the trigger, even when he did land, he wouldn’t follow up. You could see an inevitable ko by the 4th round. Fulton never used his size advantage, never tried to adjust to in fighting once it was apparent monster was dominant on the outside. I really think Fulton made it up n his mind that he was going to stick and move to the 12th round whether he won or not. Terrible mindset to have against a bully fighter. The person who beats monster is going to have to back him up the way fury backed up the bully wilder

RE:Fulton. It's hard to keep a title when one doesn't have knockout power....and at least won't let than hands go. Fulton did not let his hands go and was inaccurate when he did throw. It left him a sitting duck.

Note: Inoue technically punched Fulton (the second time) after his gloves touched the mat (the knockdown should have been scored right there after the first punch landed). However, inevitably, Fulton was going to get knocked out. He was a sitting duck.

Stunning performance by Inoue. Absolutely brilliant. Cool, calm, precise with heavy punching power. It was a complete shutout until the next to last round when Fulton showed some life. That was quickly snuffed out as a devastating right hand sent Fulton on his way down with an extra left shot to help him on his way. Naoya quickly finished the job and the belts were his. In my mind, he is as good as anybody, pound for pound, in boxing. A real clinic with both offense and defense on display. The only disappointment of the night was the one “F” upped camera (ESPN+ streaming) with the wild blue tint that really distracted from watching the fight as they switched between two cameras. Definitely worth getting up early, West Coast US time for this masterful performance.

So if either Spence or Crawford dominate and get a spectacular knockout…that’s not more impressive than knocking out Fulton? Let’s wait and see how that matchup goes at least.
