I never thought what he did was that serious anyway.
imo, prison should not be about 'punishment'. it should be strictly about preventing crime. and that means keeping the worse criminals behind bars and making sure those convicted turn to crime again.
10 years of prison for something like this would have done no one any good.

I like Kirkland & Anne Wolfe, they've had it so rough you cant help but to cheer for them to make it.
Hopefully Kirkland can do what he can do to stay in shape. The article points out he looked about 40 pounds heavier. I'd imagine the depression of being locked up and not knowing if you're going to get out for another 10 years or not was very unmotivating. Well, now he he knows he could be back in 10 months, there is light at the end of the tunnel. He needs to stay in physical shape while in there, do everything he can to lose that weight and stay as fit as possible.
Seriously? This is a boxing forum. Further, the "Black man from the streets" committed the crime. No one else! What was he doing with a gun? Nevermind, it is obviously all black and white with you.
Back to the boxing....
Descent prospect I guess.
But some questions about his chin and his defense. His discipline is a question mark to me. Is he the legitimate one punch type of puncher they make him out to be or he is more of a Jacobs or Berto type that loses his elite punching power when the comp gets more stiff.
I would like to see him fight the guy who is sparring Manny right now.
