Actually Quintana's win was more impressive due to the fact that he outboxed the bigger guy and maybe the rematch was a bad night at the office but for Quintana. He got caught with a good punch and not outboxed for 12 rds. I think Pavlik will beat Paul, because Paul has always been the bigger man inside the ring and Pavlik will be just too big for him.

Well actually his has him listed as 6'3 and when you look at the pictures of him standing next to Kelly....

Then unless Paul is wearing stilettoes i'd say Paul was the taller man , as for the Quintana fight i think it was obvious Paul was not up to his usual standard on the night, Paul was just sluggish and beaten to the punch but Kelly was embarrassed really and could have been ko'd if Hops had really went for it late on, i believe Paul has already faced someone like Kelly in Margarito but Kelly has never faced anyone like Paul before which is why i think he's in for a culture shock.

Pavlik wants to make it a fight Williams claims that "a fight" is exactly what he wants. He hopes Pavlik is willing to stand and trade. [details]

Pavlik has his chance to get back on track with this fight, and if he doesn't then his career is at a stand still. If Williams loses this fight there would'nt be a lot of shame in it, because the only way he does lose it is to succumb to Pavlik's power. If Williams gets beat in this fight he can always go back to 154 and run **** there. Even if Pavlik beats Williams it isn't going to make me change my opinion about Paul's quality as a fighter. I know the Cotto and Margarito fans are praying for him to fall because they knew their boys weren't good enough to beat him.

If Pavlik loses this fight, it is back to low profile Top Rank cards fighting in a weak division. He will probably move up to 168 eventually regardless if he wins this fight or not though.

Williams can win and should win by UD. He isn't knocking Pavlik out though.

Williams stock has really risen with me. As far as I'm concerned the only way he can lose is if he crumbles from Pavlik's power. That could very well happen though. I'd like to see how hittable Williams is when he's not looking down at his opponent.

Still his rhythm in the ring, the work rate he brings. It will really cause trouble for the upright, mechanical, 1-2 style of Pavlik.
