It will be like the Hopkins fight, but on fast-forward.

Williams will outscore Pavlik to take the fight, Pavlik is slow and its okay saying Williams will get tore up if he goes toe to toe, Williams moves over after he lets his shots go, he is invariably not there for the receipt after finishing up his combination, now i know he does not have a great! defence, but i think that is down to fighting shorter guys whom are punching up where he cant see the shots to coming to avoid them, Pavlik is relatively the same size so.....

Williams will get off first all night because he is quicker and when he does get off he will keep Pavlik playing D and step off the line and get ready to attack again.

Why is everyone comparing Williams to Hopkins and Pavlik to Quintana? Both are absolutely ridiculous comparisons. Hopkins fight a slow measured pace,Williams throws a million punches, Quintana is a small southpaw who boxes, Pavlik is a true MW with big power who constantly comes froward. Two of Pavliks worst performances were above the MW limit. If any Williams fan doesnt have questions about Williams chin they're delusional. Kelly has big MW power and PWill has never seen anything close to it and Pavlik also has a good workrate.

At least Pavlik admits Paul is a great fighter. Maybe I'll become a fan of his after he loses. I'd like to see him beat up Froch and those other Eurocrap fighters @ 168. Middleweight is Punisher Town for the next 5 years or so.

Pretty much the jist of it. Solid analysis.

Williams has got this. If Taylor could take Pavlik's punches then so can Williams.

He didn't take them too well at MW.

Pavlik looks like he lost that grin. I think the Hopkins fight ended his career. Should be a hell of a fight, but I think Williams outworks him.

Edit: Oh, and Williams fight absolutely NOTHING like Hopkins.

This fight will be nothing like the Hopkisn one guys. Williams does not use timing to offset rythem, nor does he commit to single or double power shots and spin his opponents. I expect Williams to use his supperior upperbody movement, and foot speed, hand speed and workrate to win a clear but close UD.

Had Margarito been taller, he'd beat him as well. Williams better run all night and rely on his jab otherwise he's dead meat.
Well actually Williams is the taller man by a few inches and of course his reach is much longer too so Kelly is in for a culture shock because he's usually the bigger man, you go on about the one fight Williams lost but at least he avenged that defeat and ko'd the guy in one round, which would suggest that his lose was purely a bad night at the office, he certainly wasn't schooled to death like Pavlik was against Hops, that was just embarrassing to see, as people have mentioned if Paul can take his punch then it's over for kelly, Paul's workrate, movement, number of punches thrown and southpaw stance will cause him all sorts of problems imo and it could look like Williams's fight against Margarito in the end.
