Pavlik has fought some big guys like Hopkins, Taylor and Miranda. I don't think Williams' size will be culture shock, as you say. You're right about the reach and workrate though. Helluva fight.

It amazes me how many ppl on here think Williams is like a high-volume version of Hopkins. Its ridiculous.

It is simply you don't know your boxing. Thats it.

          Very true.

Williams' only defense is his offense. He will get hit.

This is interesting. Margarito was so close to beating Williams, but he didn't start out fast enough. Pavlik starts fast and throws as may punches as Williams and Margarito too. Why is everyone all of a sudden off the bandwagon?

You are all insane. Mayweather wins this one.

pavlik should be concerned with his own chin because it's not made of granite. williams is known to have power, chin, an assidious workrate, and the abilitity to fight inside which nullifies pavlik's pressure. awesome fight though and the winner fighting abraham has finally brought zeal back into the mw division.

Williams normally only fights on the inside when he's got his opponent against the rope. Pavliks pressure-style would nulify that also. Remember Williams has been fighting WW's, and when he faught Winky, out of all those punches he landed, Winky was never hurt. I really can't see Pavlik getting hurt when Pavlik has taken Mirandas, Taylors, Hopkins, and many other natural MW's and bigger fighters shots. Please don't give me any excuse about Andy Kolle in the first round, because Andy is ****ing garbage. I've seen him spar and work in the gym, the guy stops on his own terms.

winky's a defensive fighter, pavlik isn't. williams's workrate is likely to make up for any weight disadvantage, but also remember that there are fighters that bring their power up in weight with them. should be a good fight.

Actually Williams is listed at 6'1" and Pavlik at 6'2 1/2" and Pavlik has fought some big guys. Williams has him on reach though, I give you that but not what you said about his loss to Quintana. Actually Quintana's win was more impressive due to the fact that he outboxed the bigger guy and maybe the rematch was a bad night at the office but for Quintana. He got caught with a good punch and not outboxed for 12 rds. I think Pavlik will beat Paul, because Paul has always been the bigger man inside the ring and Pavlik will be just too big for him.
