Why are Floyd fans so anally obsessed with losses? All that matters in sport is someone's ranking now. Ali must have been a lousy fighter in the eyes of idiots like you - he lost regularly.
The truly great fighters test themselves against the best possible opponents all the time, and because of that, they lose occasionally. Ray Robinson, Henry Armstrong, Willie Pep, all lost periodically throughout their careers. I suppose you think they were all lousy fighters as well.

Come on floyd, lets get it on with mosley. Mosley is ranked no 1 WW at the moment, you have said you want the biggest challanges on your comeback, you are a WW so you should logically fight the no 1 WW to prove whos best. Plus hes calling you out since well before the hatton fight. Both of you are 1st ballot hof'ers and both american so the fight will be big and you wont fight mosley!!!! Who cares what happened in the past, you will get paid now and so will mosley so quit with this crap pleassseee. Floyd your bringing up stuff about mosley that is almost 10 years old now. Both of you are now available to fight within the next few 6 months so show us you can dispatch mosley as easily as your fans keep telling us you can!!!!!!!

Here is the thing. Manny and Cotto don't need Floyd. Floyd NEEDS Manny and Cotto. Figure Bob Arum into the equation, and neither fight gets done. Arum and Roach aint letting Manny take short money. Manny could fight a host of other fighters at 147 on down. There are other welterweights for Cotto to fight including rematches with Shane Mosley and Margarito who he can take the lionshare of the money against. Floyd has positioned himself in a corner when it comes to viable options. The public only bought the fight because of his absence. Another opponent who is smaller and has no chance of winning isnt gonna sell to the non-boxing public. All roads lead to Shane no matter WHAT he talks about. Arum is gonna screw him in the end. WATCH.

The question is what will people complain about once Shane gets beat...there is always something no matter what.
