Shakur is very good and could prove to be great if he fights everyone, but I wish I could say that I'm as excited about him as Ward/Bradley are. I think he'll win me over because the skills and smoothness are there, but he needs to stay active. I would like to see him fighting every over 4-5 months. Try to become undisputed at 130lb as quickly as possible, and then move up and face a top 10 guy.

Boring fight. I don't root for any of these guys but the amount of fouling that Stevenson got away made the fight unwatchable. Sure he is talented, fast and what not, but can he do the same without the fouling? It was like a Mayweather fight but Mayweather is better defensively. Shakur was getting hit by a midget in comparison. We'll see what happens when he moves up and with a fair referee.

Stevenson is just boring. He has no power so just 12 rd decisions against decent competition. A little like Mayweather as hard to hit but just boring to watch.

- The crowd was not even cheering at the beginning of the 12th. Stevenson needs fans.
-The probing changed (to an extent) the dynamic of the fight. He established range with it. A point should have been taken.
- Valdez’s sporadic work rate put the fight out of reach for him. Could he have changed the outcome? Maybe not, but he sure would feel better about his performance today if he threw more shots.
- Dont physically run away at the end of the fight!

I agree, Stevenson is a talent, but the probing should have been stopped early on by Bayless. I expected more out of Valdez, given his vast experience and warrior mentality. When he did manage to get inside, he smothered his punches. I thought Shakur looking at the clock in the 12th round to time when he would run away, detracted from what was mostly a brilliant performance.

unify with Ogawa and then if the wba makes Tank and Guitierrz fight for one belt, fight the winner to clean out division and unify. then go to 135.

If Tank stays at 130, he’s going to fight GRJ in Maryland for the payday. makes sense. Shakur v GRJ isn’t something I want to see right now.

I agree. He's just so boring to watch. Against Tank he could have issues. Just a weak jab won't keep Tank away. Tank could beat him up.
