Not really any big fights at 130 left for Stevenson. Ogawa and possibly Gutierrez for unification, but not known names or white talent. Id rather him fight conceicao and rakhimov personally, but I'd understand going after the belts. Now at 135 is where it gets interesting. Loma, Haney, & tank are some tough fights for him. If he demolishes that division, then he really is something special. That's a big if tho. As long as he doesn't sit at 130 and drag guys up to fight instead of moving up I'll b happy. I better not hear any talk about navarette or I'll lose all respect for him.

Yeah, Stevenson is huge for this weight class. He was slowing down in the later rounds, though. Valdez just stood outside overthinking too much the first half of the fight. I'd love to see the punch stats to see the difference in how Valdez performed in the second half versus the first half. When he kept busy coming forward with his straight rights, he did good. When he just stood out there, he allowed Stevenson to tee off.

Honestly as an ex fan of Valdez......I'm happy. Hoping the next cheater to lose will be Canelo......vice-versa have a great victories in the future Andy and Ryan

I'm good with Navarette! Both he and Shakur are 5'7" and he's better than Valdez! He has 29 KOs! Totally different animal! He woud've beaten Valdez! I'm glad Shakur got there first!

Stevenson is too big now.. when u got two extremely skilled n athletic boxers, outside of a lucky or cold KO punch that size difference matters..if u notice Floyd never really fought any taller guys as he got older, he had the reach advantage in nearly every fight even as the slightly shorter man vertically..Valdez experienced that tonight, everything just seemed to come up too short as he wasn't able to get the leverage on his punches

I like Shakur. He’s a special talent when it comes to boxing intuition, spatial awareness, and timing. Decent footwork and good chin. But let’s be honest. He’s trying to will his way into superstardom and it’s not going to happen until he’s in a fight that’s truly 50/50.

He keeps talking and talking. Saying things like he’s better than Floyd…but Floyd was strong, explosive, athletic, and equally as great with timing and spatial awareness. I was expecting something close to a Corales performance but it wasn’t. And Floyd was an underdog coming into that fight

I see Shakur ending his career with a 30-0-1 with 14kos or something like that. An Andre Ward type of career with a whole lot more talking. Which is the opposite log the humble Ward.

I have a feeling I’m going to end up really disliking Shakur very soon by the inability to match his talk with his ability to actually hurt and stop his opponents.

I feel like Stevenson would lose to Haney especially if Haney keeps winning gaining this experience something like beating kamboso's overseas would do wonders for Haney's in ring confidence I feel hes still a bit unsure of himself at times. Stevenson's a bit more sure of himself in there but he's the smaller man vs Haney
