I think Khan could have given him some issues at the first half or so of the fight. I could see him being ahead on a normal person's card after 6 rounds. But I can't see him doing it for 12 rounds. And I can't see Floyd not using his fight IQ edge to at some point trap Khan, tap the weak chin, hurt him, and stop him.

You idiots do know it was Maidana not Amir who won FLOYD’s poll on twitter
that other poll was independently done by espn
of course Floyd would value his own poll where his fans are voting over some espn poll of randoms

Fully sized WWs is not Khan are you really so dense, I guess so.
Khan wasn't a slow short armed flat footed come forward fighter that Floyd could look dominant and get an easy payday with. Plus if it goes the distance because Floyd doesn't carry enough pop to ko a welterweight (unless he drops his guard) its a possibility that Khan could outbox him from the outside all night.
Aka risk wasn't worth the reward. Of course the Mayweather camp will make it seem like it was something else. Oh, Khan doesn't deserve a payday and Yada ya, but the truth is too big of a risk.

I can't think of a fight where Floyd was behind 6 rounds on the cards and needed a ko to win. We saw Roy Jones dig deep in that 1st Tarver fight.
It should be clear as day, that as the a side, Floyd just wanted easy fights. I don't see why that is so difficult for some of yous to see. Well I can see why so difficult for a card carrying Floyd Boy to seeLast edited by djtmal; 02-22-2022, 10:31 PM.

Khan vs Floyd never happened. Still everyone who talks like they know for sure has certainly got plenty of predictions wrong in fights that actually did. How many of these people thought Tyson would smash Holyfield? The day after Tyson beat Spinks my old man said a guy named Evander Holyfield will beat Tyson.
Floyd didn’t fight him for a reason style wise. I’d never bet against Floyd myself. But he was outboxing Canelo, yeah he got caught bad. But he wasent getting broken down either. Would Floyd be able to land that devastating shot like Canelo? I doubt it. The way Floyd ever loses is starting slow and running out of time. That’s potentially Joe Canelo loses also. Loses the first few slow rounds by throwing none or two less jabs. Opponent survives the middle rounds. Then manages to fight back at the end to maybe split some. Sometimes the underdog gets more credit for doing better than expected. An even round looks better for a dog than a huge favourite.

I said 1) Floyd could be behind after 6 rounds. That isn't saying he is down 6-0 lol. And 2) I said Floyd could be behind after six rounds on a normal person's card. The judges in his fights surely wouldn't have had him down if it was at all possible.
