I doubt anybody claims that Joshua is on Lewis' level. He's at least a level or two below.

Well for me he is clearly not a good as Lennox Lewis 'Lewis was a complete fighter'.

There are not many complete fighters at heavyweight around these days I.E Fighters who can fight within every single combat discipline.

Tyson Fury to his credit, does give it a go in every single department. Kronk Fury, is just Fury relying on his offensive, inside fighting capabilities and rough house tactics 'That is Kronk Fury as a whole'.

Tyson Fury in reality started off his career as Kronk Fury, this is nothing new.

Fury has reverted back to type, because he no longer wants to train in the manner 'Which will induce his old Riddler style'.

Yeah, Bruno was well ahead in that fight, and let's be honest, Bruno, whilst very big and very strong, was hardly a great boxer, so that lewis was losing round after round to Big Frank speaks volumes. I also recall in the Mercer fight (which he definitely lost by the way) Lewis was so one-paced, no other gear at all. He was very good, but in recent years especially he has became insanely overhyped. Would I bat an eyelid if Wilder knocked prime Lewis straight out, or if Usyk or Fury beat him, absolutely not. Even 3rd rate contenders from the oder generation get talked about as though they were world class. Those nostalgic glasses mask the real view. Nash out.

I agree that we do overrate the older generation. However, I do believe that the older HW division is justifiably rated. The bigger, stronger, heavier humans just aren't going into boxing like they used to. These top tier athletes are being lost to other sports in America and other regions, primarily due to the losing mainstream popularity of boxing (although, I do believe the popularity is going up). Because of this, us boxing fans are now stuck with a bunch of robotic stiffs in the HW division (outside of Usyk, Fury, and maybe a few others)

In lighter weight classes, I do believe that the fighters of the past 20 years are probably better than most of the old school fighters. But I'm not sure about current fighters in the HW division. Yeah, Tua was a slow foot plodder, but Andy Ruiz is even slower and he was a world champ in this current era. There's nothing that makes me believe that Tua couldn't do what Ruiz did, and more

AJ needs an advanced boxing brain and Mcracken just ain't it.

Man, just because i said that Lewis is better than AJ, doesn't mean that AJ sucks. And how you mention McCall, and fail to mention how AJ got obliterated by a 2 week notice Ruiz

A fully trained Ruiz was getting dropped and hurt by a badly shop-worn Arreola. I commed that AJ avenged this loss. But his career isn't over. Lewis ended his career with 2 losses, both avenged. AJ's career isn't over yet, and it doesn't look like he'll win every fight from now on. Let me know if your opinion is still the same 10 years from now when AJ is retired. Think he'll retire without another few losses or no? I actually liked his style before he started doing this pawing jab crap his past few fights. He's starting to look like a fighter with a major identity crisis, rather than a world beater that he used to look like
