It was a good fight, an adjustment by Loma could have given him the fight. The Great ones which Teo claims to be gives the fans what they want. He won the fight but not seal the doubt of being the best ie Canelo, Ali, Sugar Ray, Hearns, Duran, and other great ones always did. Its like a team winning one game against another good team and claiming greatness. The great ones want to leave not doubt, Teo wants it for the lest amount of effort. Shut up and prove it even a lost to Loma would give him more credibility, any great fighter who dethrones another champion in a good fight wants that rematch, He is a paper tiger at best. If he thinks he is mirroring Ali or Floyd as a talker he needs to back it up with his hands not just lip

Teo is on point right there! Loma felt Teo was beneath him, that he would win easily, and move on to bigger and better! DID NOT HAPPEN! Loma should be going after Haney's title, not Richard Commey! What does a Commey win do for him?

I hope Josh Taylor can be convinced to stay at 140, and fight Teofimo Lopez, instead of moving on to 147! Taylor vs. Lopez would be a very good fight!
Here we go with chasings titles/belts instead of actually being the best fighter sometimes a rematch or even trilogy is required and even good for the sport, ALL the great ones knew and wanted this which is what made them great even more so than winning, Ali lost, Sugar Ray Robinson lost, Joe Louis lost, but all are still great in their losses, today's bunch don't really grasp that concept and apparently some fan don't as well

Need to stop being a troll.

In this case I disagree. Loma was a top 2 p4p boxer. He was a 7-1 favorite. Few gave Teo a chance to beat Loma. Me included.

Maybe 3 posters thought if he won it would be by outboxing Loma.

Loma and Arum were so confident Loma would win they didn’t have a rematch clause.

was this Buster over Tyson? No but a huge upset nonetheless.

Sorry my friend but Teo earned the right to stunt on the haters anyway he chooses. He also has every right to treat Loma like he beat him 8-4 or 9-3.

Don’t know Bout you but if I outbox a top 2 p4p boxer and defy everyone’s predictions I’m gonna stunt on the haters big time.

His last 2 fights are a dominant wins over LW champs. He had earned the right to act like he’s the big dog.
He fits the mold of American fighters Arrogance? but he deserves to "stunt on haters" both is what takes away from the sport today. This guy is putting himself in the Great catagory, even the True Great ones didn't do that, with the exception of Ali who didn't dodge anyone for a rematch

You guys are detached from reality.
I do agree with you about the mindset of some of these fighters but your bias view and generalization of American fighters shows your detachment from reality, Throughout history all the great American fighters ran thru Europe, Sugar Ray did 8-10 fights in 8-10 months to clean out Europe, did you know some of the best potential fighters in the US never consider the sport because of a more lucrative career in other sports which is why Europe is catching up, back in the day a fighter like Wilder career would be sparring pardner as best, and Tyson would be a bum at best. Your European Champs and most of Today's American Champs would not be worthy of a match with the American champs or Latino Champs of the 60s, 70, 80s, or even 90s. American and Latino fighters have historically ruled by a huge margin over Europe

But you would've been cool if Loma had won, and NOT given the Young Man a rematch! Loma didn't even think this kid was on his level! Lopez vs. Taylor for Undisputed at 140! That's the fight I want to see!

Stuntin on haters and doubters doesn’t take anything away from the sport. That is just crazy.

Of course he’s going to call himself great. Big deal. The issue isn’t him saying it, it’s you getting so in your feelings that you’re holding it against him.

It’s fine if you don’t like him I just don’t understand not liking him based on how he promotes and markets himself.
