It's just wrong and its costing them sanctioning fees into the bargain, so how does that make sense for them. Just fight each other and let someone else fight for the mandatory. Someone whose actually willing to go on and fight for the title. Everything you said about Commey is spot on. I read somewhere that Commey believed it should have been him to get ordered to fight Fortuna. If that is the case then that would have made more sense for all concerned.
I hope DiBella represents his fighter in the interest of his fighter, and not Arum and Lomachenko! If he's going to move away from a title fight (because Haney is calling him out too) then he should be properly compensated!

It's a dangerous fight for Loma, for sure. I think Loma wins but who knows in boxing. You know Loma will win on the scorecards, even if it's close, because of how they always give African boxers the shaft.

But the one fight that I think Commey wants more than any other fight is a rematch against Lopez. I think that loss is the worst for Commey, in Commey's opinion. He didn't like losing to Lopez at all. He'd probably take the rematch for free.
Commey won't see Lopez @ 135! I think Commey has the frame to go to 140 though!

Definitely. But I'm inclined to think that the Haney fight will be the bigger purse and of course for a world title. So that's a win, win. But if Loma fight was bigger purse, then that's fair enough, plus the bigger name. Just no title. I read that he has vowed to bring another title back to his people in Ghana, as thanks for his continued support after losing to Teo, as he felt he let his fans down. Sounds a good likeable guy. I don't think he'll be successful though, but I'm sure he'll try his heart out.

Sometimes a flash KO doesn't really mean the guy is better! I'd like to see him fight Teo @ 140! In the same vein, I would like to see the Charlo vs. Lubin rematch too!

Yeah. He can got to 140. For sure. I think it depends on what Commey wants to do. He seems to make 135 easily. Which makes me wonder whether it's so hard for Lopez to make 135 pounds. Too often I hear that it's hard to make 135, then he says it's easy for him to make 135, and then it's hard again. I guess it depends on which way the wind is blowing for Lopez.

Always funny listening to Tia about how scared he is.

Yeah I don't read too much into 1st and 2nd round KOs. They don't always tell the full story

I would like to see a rematch but it’s not the end of the world if we don’t get it. I expect Teo to face either Josh Taylor at 140 or another top lightweight next if he’s so dead set against the Loma rematch. Anything besides that is a bad look for him.

The one thing you guys on this forum need to understand, is when you ask these fighters about what they’re saying to the media.. in person.. they give completely different answers.

                    Understand that.

Commey is 34, Lopez is 24! Big difference! Lopez can't stop maturation! Commey is a grown man! I'm certain Commey is a Welterweight on fight night! No way is he under 140 on fight night!
