This is the third time Wilder will have had home advantage over Fury ?????

What other sport does this happen in if an American runner, tennis player, golfer tried to behave like that they would be laughed and ridiculed in their own country instead of just round the world like Wilder and his fake champion friends?

In your world the Olympics can only be held in the States, we can only have the US open for tennis ... you just make America look weak.

Look at Josh Taylor vs Gervonta Davis , will Davis ever defend a belt outside the States ,, no .. he could be offers 10x the money but we know he will never fight outside the States. He won't even fight Taylor in the States because Taylor ain't known there ... hey Davis fight in Scotland see who knows you there.

Millions watched super middle weight boxing when Roy Jones Jr was champ and had never heard of him or even knew he existed but they weren't Americans so that's ok?
Was Roy Jones Jr a world champion .. he was good enough .. but no way was he fighting the rest of the world go ask Steve Collins who wrote a book about it.

Gervonta Davis Takes Out Liam Walsh in Three Rounds
    May 20, 2017

Copper Box, London - For the IBF super featherweight championship, Gervonta Davis (18-0, 17 KOs) retained his belt by stopping previously undefeated mandatory challenger Liam Walsh (21-1, 14 KOs) in three rounds.

If slave trader junior rematch clause Edward Hearn wasn't involved at all negotiations would go alot easier.

DAZN Exec Chairman John Skipper Admits To “Messing Up” $100m Deontay Wilder Deal!
        November 21, 2019

        Boxing News 24

A new streaming app showcasing all types of sports called DAZN landed in America and has quickly risen as an alternative platform for sports enthusiast. The company DAZN has signed some major players such as Mexican Boxing Star Canelo Alvarez and his popular foe Gennady ‘GGG” Golovkin among other top fighters.

In March John Skipper the Executive Chairman of DAZN tried to secure America’s next biggest Heavyweight Star Deontay Wilder to a 3 fight network deal which totalled $100 million dollars which was an astronomical amount to say the least.

The news of this $100m deal sent shock waves through the boxing world and many were convinced Deontay Wilder must be very valuable and this deal was a “no brainer” and surely he would take it right away.

The mega $100 million dollar deal ultimately FAILED and disappeared with some calling the Champion Deontay Wilder a FOOL for declining such a deal. In an interview with LANCE PUGMIRE of the ATHLETIC.com DAZN Executive chairman John Skipper was quoted as saying :

“In retrospect, I was too brash going in there without creating the relationships I needed to create with the people who advised Deontay Wilder. I have now worked to do that. It has to do with going back to the education I needed before getting into boxing … When we left that (Wilder) meeting, I KNEW WE MESSED UP and that we weren’t going to be successful (Wilder)

John Skipper went on to say QUOTE:

“We were IMPATIENT, and after having some early success, we wanted to MOVE QUICKLY. Now I understand that I’ve got to work relationships, work within a framework and understand other peoples’ self-interests and needs as well … If I had to do it again, I’d have gone in and said, ‘I’m playing the long game.’ I’m playing the long game with Canelo and GGG, too.”.

The sweet carolines have been bitter about wilder ever since. They generally feel their honour has been tarnished and soiled by wilder refusing to get on board with dayzin

Well done lad. The xenophobic mind isn’t a rational one and there is no logic with populism/nationalism. Kid has such an inferiority complex about the USA it’s actually on the verge of a genuine case of paranoid personality disorder

Skipper saying that they could have done better is not the same thing as assuming responsibility for the fight not happening.

ultimately Wilder was offered $100m and a chance for One Face, One Name etc. but he and his team swerved it. Apparently in order to “bet on themselves”, to use Finkel’s words. We don’t have Wilder’s words in the immediate aftermath because Finkel didn’t let him speak about it.

The fact is he admits to being "brash" and not respecting Wilder's Team! I'm sure that was at least 90% of the problem! Anyway, Haymon gave them a fighter, for the DAZN U.S. debut, and we know how that went!

You shouldn't have lied about wanting to fight Wilder in 2018. Which is why we have a Wilder/Fury trilogy now three years later. You should've just come out and said that Anthony Joshua wasn't ready for Deontay Wilder at the time and everything would have stayed the same.
