It depends on what your definition of a fight is. Neither of those guys belong in a boxing ring.

seems like cherry picking matchmaking got one over on you. mma fighters arent necessarily boxers. some have good boxing skills, others not so good. askren was a guy with not so good boxing skills and he was a lot smaller than paul. they were also competing in a boxing match not an mma match. its lik saying lebron sucks at basketball because he struckout in baseball. brock lesnar had a background in competitive wrestling which helped him briefly get to the top before more skilled guys started destroying him. he wasnt just some random guy with no skills, also look at wilder lol

The UFC absolutely does better on PPV. Look at the actual consistent numbers not just once in a blue moon Floyd/Pac or Floyd vs an MMA fighter. The UFC is going to PPV monthly, boxing goes to PPV a handful of times a year and with a rare few exceptions (the Canelo/GGG and Fury/Wilder fights) the actual serious boxing matches dont draw very well anymore. The few serious fights that actually COULD do big numbers almost always get drawn out for ****ing years and when (or if) they finally happen it leads to a short spike in interest for that one fight and thats it. The UFC has a steady stream of needle mover PPV fights throughout the year.

The "a WWE wrestler won the UFC title" **** is the ****ing worst. I'm not sure half of these dudes even understand REAL wrestling is a thing, and that he was a ****ing national HW champion in it before the WWE signed him. They literally think he was a WWE guy who came in and beat mother****ers with a powerbomb and a chokeslam.

I'm a fan of both. UFC is great. Looking forward to Usman vs Masvidal 2. I think Usman might get caught

well I boxed amateur when I was a teenager through my 20s and even was sparring in my 30s. I still train today to stay in shape. I'm no way near what you would call a world class fighter and I wouldn't make a good professional. I know for a fact I'd beat the **** out of most, if not damn near all UFC fighters at my weight in a boxing ring. It wouldn't be any competition. At the same time, in the octagon, they would beat the hell out of me too.

This would happen to most of their best strikers too btw, put McGregor in there vs Paul and see what happens. His boxing skills are abysmall yet he's taunted as one the best strikers in UFC lol

MMA fighters are just not on the same level as boxers
He was a champion? Oh boy

In Bellator like 10 years ago and One FC after that. He did get a couple of legit wins to be fair but he didnt go to the UFC until right at the end of his career and he failed spectacularly there.

MMA is now a part of Showtime sports programming.
It just started recently. It is hosted by Mauro Ranallo.
They're probably sick of boxing personalities who are rarely seen in the ring.

How does that support your theory that it wouldn't last much longer?
