Man look at that weak resume. All these guys were universally recognized at the top of their division and p4p. Floyd oughta quit fighting all these top 10 guys and stop ducking the real threats at top 20 - 30

He knocked off everyone on that list within three except for Manny. Too bad the fight didn't come off earlier. Ahh well. Either way, hell of an accomplishment.

Really? It's an accomplishment certainly but a hell of a one? He beat guys he's supposed to fight and all 3 of them were way after they should have happened.

It really shows how fan expectation has dropped over the years that people are jumping for joy because a fighter beat some guys in his weight division.

Mayweather did what he had to do eventually so you have to give that to him. He deserves as much credit as that allows him but some people are getting a little overzealous.

You guys have literally had this thread bookmarked for 6 years. To me that's a little sad

Yeah he beat guys he was supposed to fight. Ok. LOL.

And irrespective of when it should have happened, they were all considered elite or highly ranked when he fought them. People act like only his opponents age or something.

Actually they're not "FACTS" at all. Their rankings invented by a staff of writers at a magazine. They are literally the definition of "opinions"

Dazed, Miguel Cotto took 2 career threatening beatdowns before he faced Floyd Mayweather. One people have argued was with plaster. Shane Mosley was 39 years old and hadn't fought in 16 months. His fight prior to Margarito, he looked like complete dog**** against Ricardo bloody Mayorga. Manny Pacquaio literally got knocked out cold for 5 minutes a couple of fights ago.

These are "FACTS". Floyd did what he had to do and maybe it wasn't all his fault all these fights didn't happen when they should have but you guys are going overboard because an All Time Great did what he was supposed to do.....in 6 years.

I guess he can only beat what's in front of him and perhaps that isn't very much in this era which he is certainly the best of.

                      Tis impressive though.

No one else I the modern era has managed to do it.

You'd probably have to go back to the 70's or earlier to find a fighter who beat 10 fighters ranked #1 in the divison being fought in by The Ring.

P4P lists have been around since the early 80's and I'm quite sure no one has beaten as many P4P fighters as Floyd.

Not the be all and end all obviously and it's just stats at the end of the day but it's still impressive.
