paul williams is no margarito, he hits just as hard if not harder, has unbelievable stamina, has a great chin, and is much, much faster than margarito..... i.e. cotto won't be able to "stick and move" away from paul, as he was able to do against margarito for a while.

it'll be a great, action-packed fight, but PW beats cotto in the same fashion margarito did, except the corner doesn't throw in the towel, the REF stops the fight.....and there won't be any "plaster" excuses.
i see what you mean but margarito improved since losing to williams and williams also has improved over time. its tough to gauge how cotto woudl do against williams, being that the triangle theory is proven to be complete rubbish.

also, i agree with what jim jeffries said about hooks to the body VS the head. williams does leave himself open due to his output so things could be interesting.

It's debatable whether Margarito started using plaster until after the Williams loss.

i want to see how he plans on dealing with that freak of nature. for the record, no i dont think williams is a God but you cant deny that his physical attributes coupled with his stamina and workrate arent a handful
It truly is a horrible matchup for Miguel.

The threatstarter is right in that his only chance at victory would be to land some vicious body shots, but how the *** is he going to do that? He couldn't even get to Margarito's body.

This is when you guys are wrong. Cotto wont try and stick and move thats imposible for him to do against Williams do to the height and reach doference.

Cotto will try and get to the inside and pound on Williams Body. And on the inside, Williams Size will play against him, because he wont have the space to punch, because Cotto will get to close for Williams to unload. And Williams is not that good of a inside fighter/.

He looked good fighing on the onside against Margarito, because Margarito also needs his room to punch, so he would let some space to punch Williams, and in result Williams had some space to punch back.

Cotto will get so close that Williams would not run his punches like he do. And Cotto will pound on that skinny body like crazy.

Now, that been said, if Cotto cant get to the inside of Williams, Williams wins by UD, becasue of his ridiculous punch output!!!!!!!1

Because he didnt wanted. He got in love with those head shot. they came so free that he forgot about the body.

Is not that he coulndt, it was the fight pln and the desicion he did to go head hunting.

I just see him getting constantly nailed on the way in to try to get to Williams' body. I am glad Williams left 147, I think Cotto can beat everyone else there.

come on man....PW is 6'1", not 6'5". by the way, cotto is fighting joshua clottey next, how much money you reckon the fight's gonna be worth? cotto's a NAME, but ppl here seriously overestimate his earning power. fact is, a fight with PW would probably give cotto his biggest payday to date.
