    Did Paul Williams ever offer Cotto a fight?

    I mean did his people ever give Bob Arum an official offer for a fight?

    Not that I know of. He just said after he beat Marg he wanted Cotto or Mr boat buyer.

      I wondering because according to Malcolm, Floyd didn't duck Cotto because Cotto didn't offer Mayweather a fight. So I'm wondering if PWill's people offered Cotto a fight. Just trying to make sure his logic is consistant.

          Arum said that he would not work with Williams' people. That is the Bobfather's way of protecting his Puerto Rican Princess.

          Bob knows. If Miguel quit against Margarito, imagine what Williams would do to him.

                Paul is going to be trouble for Cotto or Floyd, he has an 83 inch reach and knows how to use it. Its extremely hard fighting a guy with arms that long. Especially when its hard to see his uppercut coming.

                  Maybe it's because nobody knew (or even still now knows) who Williams is. Think about it, even Cotto losing to Marg and Williams beating Marg, who's the more popular of the two right now? Williams was tryin to bag a big draw but nobody was seeing him. Whether you think it's fear or not it is up to you, but considering there were visibly empty seats at the Winky vs Williams fight, you tell me why Williams hasn't been able to secure any fights.
