Speculations just like your gym war theory at best.....
It wasn't just his weight, it was the way he made weight, and his overall condition. He was in no condition to fight and that's the facts. Valero busted up Oscar so badly in sparring they had to fire him from training camp. Nacho Beristain said he was "too rough" for Oscar. I bet Nacho didn't reveal that either! You can't really blame Nacho, who wants to admit you're sending a zombie in the ring when you're his head-trainer?

You're clearly a die-hard Pacquiao fan, so I can understand why these revelations are a bit difficult for you to swallow, but you've just got to accept reality! What do you have to say about Roach's comments? That Oscar was so washed up anyone could beat him? That Oscar was so weak and gaunt, that he knew the fight would be easy and they'd win before the 1st round. Or, that he saw IV marks in his arms which was a sign he was having major problems with hydration.

Naaah im a fan of Fighters and boxers that dare to be great no matter what the outcome.......... I pick PBF and Cotto winning against PAC too.

A corpse throwing the same amount of punches the first two rounds?
      Schaefers words are Facts?
Sparring matches should be getting more credit than actual fights?

those arent facts those are an excuse from a so called "professional" who quit after talking so much crap...."I would consider it a failure if i dont KO him", "IM gonna take his heart out" etc.........with an ALL star team...LOL

I think this thread topic is clearly over the reading comprehension and mental ability of someone like you. The presence of you in my thread is starting to dumb it down. That's as gently as I can say it, so please don't take offense to my comments.

The fact is that Oscar was dominated by another super-featherweight who would have knocked him out in the same "Dream Match" if given the opportunity.

Naaaah...im just giving credit where credit is due...

Im actually giving more credit to actual fights than gym wins.LOL........While you are giving more credit to sparring sessions then discrediting actual fights.

You better find a better source than schaefer and stick to making a comments about sparring sessions...........real boxing aint for you.

Yeah man, that's all I'm trying to say. Not really trying to discredit anyone's win, but I'm just saying others could have easily done it as well.

We all saw what happened when Raheem was given the opportunity to fight that faded version of Morales. He absolutely dominated him, and that was after Morales just put a boxing clinic on Pacquiao. Yet, Raheem gets no credit, but once Pacquiao beat Morales (6 months later), all the sudden he's in the p4p3 rankings.

Ali Funeka has beeing saying for ages he would beat Pacquiao. Everyone called him crazy and said any top lightweight would beat him. Well, he destroyed Raheem, and then finally he was given the chance to fight Nate Campbell (lineal #1 champ at 135) in a fight which many people felt he deserved to win. I think Funeka's 6'2" height and long reach would give Pacquiao all the problems in the world, but those kind of fights you just won't see happen due to popularity contest and promoters.

Zahir Raheem beating Morales says more about how shot Morales was at the time. Raheem had lost to Rocky Juarez at 126 and lost to Acelino freitas after beating Morales. Morales was completely shot when he fought pacquiao the second time.
