Plenty of unknown euro's perhaps. Havent you noticed the reluctance from the divisions other big guns? They never mention Kessler themselves and when asked they look a little petrified (at least Bute did after he demolished Zuniga). Not even Froch mentions Kessler anymore.

Who can blame him. There's likely a bigger purse and a better chance of winning against Bute than Kessler. Add also that dealing with a management in open conflict with their fighter is risky business indeed.

theres only two fighters that would take on kess one of them is johnson and the other is froch.

this is one of the reasons i wanted kess to take on johnson at 170 but he turned it down in favour of a superfight wth larsen that just never happened (which is a shame tbh).

froch is another guy who said he wanted to take on kess in the build up to JT vs froch, but since then you are right he has changed his tune and has said he wants bute.

kess should have taken that fight with johnson no matter what the payday it was an easy fight for him, johnson comes at you, kess could have countered him all night and his superior speed and power would have showed.

Johnsons offer was 500K which is ridiculous considering Kessler was in line for millions fighting Larsen thereby silencing the danish Joe average who believes Larsen would be a worthy challenger. That fight would be gigahuge over here just like Cooper-Erskine, Bugner-Cooper, Bruno-Bugner and Lewis-Bruno was in Britain. Great fight on domestic scales.

In any case Kessler has a mandatory against superstar Perdomo, who got his no.1 ranking by losing to Sartison, which is due in July. I wait news on this fight which should be interesting considering all communication between Kessler and his management goes through lawyers.
