If Floyd fights and beats Mosley at 147 then that supersedes that rest because Mosley actually held titles at higher weight classes and is more accomplished then they are.
I agree with you on that.

Its very obvious that all this hype was inevitable, once Floyd said he was leaving the sport we all knew it would be a matter of time before he came back again.....After the Hatton fight he said he was done with the sport and that there was nothing more out there to prove, especially since at the time he felt there was no one out there that would allow him to command the dollar figures that he had just made in his two final fights ( DLH & HATTON).......

Now since he's been on the sidelines, Mosely has certainly resurrected his career, Cotto went on to fight some very good fights and make a name for himself, and of course Pac-Man has added to his star power and has moved up to the ranks of 135-147lbs and is now the #1 PFP Champ...Paul Williams sufferd a bad loss to Quintana, avenged it and now has an opportunity to add to his star power by fighting Winky Wright..and most recently JMM stepped up in weight and gave a hell of a performance against the "Baby Bull" and is now mentioned as a top PFP Champ.........

So now there are some very very viable options for Pretty Boy Floyd to choose from...all of which can garner him money and boxing cred respect.....

So let's see how it all unfolds, alot is made about Pretty Boy Floyd being afraid to lose, quite frankly its all a crock of crap, there's always the chance of getting hit by that one punch that could end it all each time a fighter steps in the ring.....It's not his fault that he was more skillful than every opponent that he faced...

So please boxing fans let's give the man a chance to see:

#1). If he is indeed going to fight again

      and

#2). Who he plans to fight. And how many times he's looking to fight.
      ------------------------------------------------------------------------

And by the way Mosley is now doing what Floyd has been critized for doing and that is seeking Mega Fights ( dollars)....

So if we are gonna throw Floyd under the bus let's also throw Mosley under that same bus!!!

I see your posts a lot and you seem like a smart guy, but what you just wrote is the biggest load of CRAP that I read thus far and there are some crappy posts written on here sometimes. Pacquiao went all the way up to 147 and dominated Oscar De La Hoya & your saying that 140 is Pac's highest peak weight and a catch weight will affect him in a negative way? Floyd won't get NO props for beating him? Pac is fighting Ricky Hatton for his first debut at 140 and Ricky is UNDEFEATED at that weight? What would a catch weight be? Like 143/145? Pacquiao walks around like 150 right? Not buying that excuse my friend.

JMM already looks small at Lightweight, nothing to do with height, he just looks like he's managing to beat naturally bigger men because he's so skilled, at Lightweight. So unless Floyd could get down to 135 I don't think beating JMM would do anything for his legacy.
Did you really think about what you wrote? JMM is a very skilled fighter bottom line and his weight did not come in as a big factor and it didn't work against him at all. He beat two naturally bigger guys than him and by KO! & they never got KO'd prior to that in their professional careers. Nobody knows how JMM will do at higher weights but from seeing how he is adapting I can see him putting it on in a positive way.

Sure the other three guys make good money fights but they present the least challenge to Mayweathjer at WW.
hey ****** ass. floyd did'nt make this list. goldenboy did. read the article if you know how to read because it looks like you can't. thats the reason cotto's name is'nt on there dummy.

When Freddie Roach was being interviewed about a possible fight with Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr, he said that he would prefer it to be at a catch weight. Check video below for reference at 5:50

i'll tell u exactly what hes gonna do.Hes gonna take a warm up easy fight in july & then challenge cotto since he knows cotto was cheated on & still's the man 2 beat.Mayweathers gonna ask 4 alot of money cause of his ego but it wont be a risk fight.& cotto's not gonna look back 4 mosley cause he doesnt have 2, he already clearly beat him.plus they'll be more money against floyd.& as for margarito & all his hold ur nutzz fans, all they can hang onto is for tony to come back next year & prove he can beat cotto without the plaster or anyone else for that matter. So dont cry when u hear the soft opponent floyd took 4 july cause u heard it here first plus floyd is too predictable in his fight choices in his career.ohhhh & i like cotto 2 smash floyd up.....but im sure u all knew that allready....lol

You Die Hard Cotto fans are too funny. Miguel Cotto is not being mentioned not only by Floyd's camp but also by Golden Boy but Manny Pacquiao is and he is a Top Rank fighter. The reason is because Cotto is not a Heavy weight $ wise in the sport at the moment or a threat to anybody right now. Antonio Margarito stopped Cotto's rise and star power so now he's on the road back and basically is questionable until he fights Clottey and we can really see how he has adjusted since last July. I can understand you guys are Miguel Cotto fans and it is great that you support him but the reality of it in a whole is that Miguel Cotto is back to square one and by him fighting Michael Jennings in his come back proves it.
