Floyd won't fight 140. That fight WAS NOT close, Hatton wasn't doing any damage, it was close b/c floyd was getting his timing tightened up. (See I'm not a Floyd hater).

I want to see Ricky V Floyd at 147 just a little more than I want to see Floyd V Oscar.

How about floyd V shane, cotto, berto, pwill, or another strong WW since that's the weight he fights at, then he can take on Pac when/if he beats Hatton.

Just take a look at what you said there in the bold/red. You contradicted yourself and admitted what I was saying in the first place.

Hatton got beat convincingly, as most TKO's tend to indicate. But, Hatton gave a good account of himself until he lost his head completely in the middle of the fight. He got caught from a well timed left hook. It's not like he was just getting starched the whole fight. Floyd is originally a power puncher and his money punches are the left hook and the straight right. Ricky was the victim of poor judging and the worst ref job in a long time too. You cannot tell me Ricky only won one round and that Cortez was acting fair in the fight. Floyd elbowed Ricky so much it could have been an MMA fight. And Floyd turning his back on Hatton? Why was that not a big deal the 12th time he did it? There was foul play and I think the fight would be a blockbuster if the right venue was used, the right ref is used and Hatton having learned from his mistakes.

Plus you act as if the fight was not entertaining. I enjoyed it one hell of allot more than ODLH vs. Money May. It was a damn good fight at first and I gaurantee the rematch happens if Manny gets beat in May.

common mang, margarito is a much tougher fight than casamayor or juan diaz.

cotto would destroy casamayor and diaz easily. I admit that its not out of the question that jmm could outbox margo, but the weight disparity is such that all margo has to do is land a few big punches and jmm will go splat.

This is why most hardcore boxing fans have lost respect for Mayweather. The only true welterweight on that list is Mosley and should be first choice do to his dominance af Margarito, but not to be considering Cotto, Clottey, Berto is disgracefull. Sure the other three guys make good money fights but they present the least challenge to Mayweathjer at WW.

cotto's not gonna get pac. pac was difficult in negotiations against dlh and hatton. if pac beats hatton it will get only worse.

pac will demand a bigger purse than cotto, as well as a catchweight w/ monetary penalties if cotto does not make weight.

cotto won't let pac get the bigger purse nor fight at a catchweight (as he is very vulnerable lower than 147).

if pac doesnt get floyd, he will fight jmm next, then fight valero in the phillipines and retire.

pac is great.. but he needs to do more in order to be compared with sugars resume... thats my oppinion..

sugar have been for long time...and have face way way more tought opposition than pac...

both are good.. and i just cant decide which one is better... cos I found them right there on each other...

pac brings more excitement. .because of his name and the wars he already have been in... but i wouldnt say hes better than sugar...
