I dont want to hear about the hand issues. Calzaghe has brittle hands too and has to slap to adjust, and he still won 116-112 on my card. When I watched it again I had it 117-111 and the ref stepped in fo rno reason when Calzaghe had Kessler hurt.

It was a great win because it unified the division, and it was against a very good opponent.

Exactly, that holds a lot of weight.

Calzaghe didn't spar much for Lacy doe to having previously broke his hand in fight, winning that one single handed, then injuring it again close to fight night.

Plus unlike Kessler it yet again did give him problems in fight meaning he couldn't land it flush again. Did that stop him dominating performing very well on his own merit? No.

Kessler however was sharp and landing flush with no problems.

I met joe and he told me that, he had to adjust his style so mutch cos of the hand. and he couldent put full power into a left. Wen he showed me his left hand, its like its swollen all the time, it never goes down.

But that win against kessler who is very very underated, was his best. No americans want kessler, just like they dident want Joe, So glad he retired underfeated too!!!! Top Bloke!!!!

            Probably top 3 for Calzaghe.

Indeed it was a good win. And signifikant. But don't say it was the best Kessler because it wasn't.

It was a very, very good win. I don't understand how so many people think that Kessler isn't worth anything... Kessler is a very good fighter, and Calzaghe beat him very convincingly.
