Floyd was fighter of the year TWICE..... not 10 times! Come on Horus.
But i like your argument and it makes sense. Why people continue to base Floyds career at Welterweight is beyond me and beyond intelligence.
In that case base SRL's resume at Light Heavyweight, Durans at Light heavy, etc etc.
Floyd is top 30 ATG at the moment and in the following years he'll move up.

Although his resume at 130 & 135 *****s ANYTHING he did from 140-154, most people will continue to judge him from the point he became pfp#1.
yep totally agree.

When talking FOTY, people generally refer to Ring ****zine, or at least one awarding body. You don't sc**** the barrel and count 6 FOTY award from 1 year
Floyd was Fighter of the year in: 1998(2 Recognizable bodies), 2001,2002, and 2007 by 6 (Recognizable bodies)
If we want to used your logic we can say 4 years out of his 11 year career he was selected fighter of the year.
Who else can we say that about?
but to address another matter, to the people saying i only focus on floyd career when he became p4p#1...Do you guys do the same thing for Pacquaio?
