You're absolutely right...but he's still not worth $20 Mill up front. He knows he's character and his role in the sport is to be the bad guy, but in the end he needs someone of the stature of Oscar to get the money he wants.

I'm all for just having him stay retired, its crazy that we talk about his finances more than his actual fights...SMH...

It is fine that you think he is not worth it, but it is entirely his right to ask for it and to think he is worth that. Hey you never know if you don't try. If someone want to draw him out of retirement (at this stage) they have to come correct or should not bring him up at all.

Both Mosley and Manny are very good at playing the good guy. I mean hell Shane got away with preformance enhancing drugs, no one gets to slide with that **** like Mosley did. I think either fighter meshes very well with Floyd's persona. Hero-Villian is the best possible story line you can have for selling a fight, so much so that the names only matter a little bit (although being well known would most certainly help).

How would the money be better to fight Cintron? Anycase, he's already stated Clottey is the dude he wants to fight. Plus if you wanna talk finances, Arum cakes both ways if either guys wins and Clottey has huge fanbase in NY as well as Cotto. MSG will be packed.

There's nothin wrong with fighters wanting big money fights. But asking for $20 Mill Guaranteed is a stretch. The only man that deserved that type of money wore the number 23.

but mosley and pacman ain't mayweather! he is the biggest draw in boxing besides Oscar. if manny getting guarnteed 12M, Floyd should atleast be offered 15M.
