They'd all excite true boxing fans, but they wouldn't have anything like the crossover appeal that the Hatton fight would have had. Hatton has millions of fans who aren't really interested in boxing but who love Hatton (so does Pac, come to that), and a fight between the two would bring in a lot of new fans to boxing.

Apart from Mayweather none of the people you mention is well known except by hardcore boxing fans.

all im saying is; for such a big money fight, you would think that the CEO of a major conglomerate would show just a wee bit more professionalism....that interview had scorn written all over it...im guessing that not being able to sign manny and having manny rip their boss' testicles in front of 1.25 million people might have something to do with it....oh well...they get paid like pros, suck it up and act like one....save the fight....dont go ranting to espn like a little b1tch...we ALL want to see the fight
I agree with you that he should be more circumspect, but Pac has also been making ****** and childish statements to the press. Both sides should grow up, IMO. And Pac refusing to take calls from his own trainer and his own promoter is unprofessional and disrespectful. If he doesn't rate them, why doesn't he sack them? And if he doesn't rate Roach, why did he say Roach has been like a father to him?

no argument here...my only point is that you can't expect pro boxers to be the most socially polished people and for them to have a certain business savvy...i expect THAT, from a CEO or anyone that's trying to make the fight happen...this verbal jabbing thru the media is downright ******ed

if the fight is dead, then announce that its dead and move on...dont sit there and start whining and b1tching to espn...what's that gonna do?

Pac ego trip + greed + new baby girl + not wanting 12 brutal rounds with Hatton = no contract signed.

I keep flicking onto this forum hoping to see the headline " Hatton vs Pacman set in stone for May" but the longer this goes on the less I feel it will be realised.

All this bull**** is damaging boxing, I just hope something can be done to make this fight happen.

                      This is bull****
PBF and hatton made around a million more ppvs then delahoya and pacman.

the reason hatton fought bums in his last 2 fights was because he just had a huge blow in his career it takes time to recover from that mentally and with a new trainer he was hardly going to go out there straight afterwards and go yep odh manny marg i'll fight u all.

Also if u walk in some1s house and they say please take ur shoes off would you say yh sure thats fair enough and then 2 mins later go **** it and put them on and walk **** around there house?????
