      Hatton's last 3 fights:

KO loss to Floyd Mayweather (at the the time P4P #1)
Decision over Juan Lazcano (Lazcano hadn't fought in nearly 2 years??)
      KO over Pauli Malignaggi (LOL)

...and Hatton was worth a 60-40 over Pacquiao? :wank:

This is why I made a thread previously about PPV rates, etc being looked over the actual fights. People are bitching that Hatton deserves the bigger pie since he has a huge following and would generate great PPV and gate numbers...but competitively IMO it was just one last stepping stone to an inevitable fight with Floyd (which really is the fight the majority of us would like to see).

      Just my 2 cents

      true..

but if boxing were like that ... golden boy wouldnt be golden boy....

mayweather wouldnt be money may.... and same goes around..

      this is how boxing works....

for competition you have the olimpics

learn how to swim with the waves or move out.. simple as that..

Im with you... It should be that way about real competitive fights...... but is just not.

Life should be easier.. but is not. U have to deal with it and make the most of it. I dont think theres a fight besides mayweather that would give pac as much as he is asking.

so.. the only way pac gets untouched from this.. is landing a fight with mayweather.. or fighting a BIG NAME @ WELTER and get his ass kicked..

      it cant go other way....

But instead he is getting zero money, as a result of the way he handled the negotiations. How ****** is that?

Pacquiao was unhappy with the terms and felt that he deserved more than the 52-48 split being offered. He originally wanted a 60-40 split, but later brought his demand down to 55-45. [details]
pac's legacy is beating the best that mexico had to offer. hatton's legacy is getting KTFO. hatton needs pac not the other way around no matter how much money hatton makes.

Give over! Hatton - Pacquiao is more competitive the Mayweather - Pacquiao. Floyd would box circles round Pacquiao!

If pac fights JMM he makes 6-6m, fights Hatton it's closer to 20m. so how can he demand more? hatton will make 10-15m whoever he fights next.

Hatton is over rated. who has he beat? nobody. he got ass whopped by mayweather really badly. Pacquiao although i though he lost to marquez still hasnt lost since 2005 to morales which is another razor thin decision and he didnt look bad at all, besides that pacquiao hasnt look bad in any fight in the last 10 years, who does hatton beat in the last year lazcano? maliggnaggi? who the hell are these guys? none of these fight on PPV where is the supposed money he brings? lets not forget his win against collazo where most think he lost, hatton had his chance on 12/08/07 and he came up short.

Plus, Pacquiao has a big hispanic following too. Hatton only has his hooligan soccer fans.
I feel what you are saying bro, my in laws are Pinoy and love Pac to death, when he fights, theres like a hundred of em in a house watching 5 big screens.....BUT they all tell me that when Pac fights happen, the filipines show Pacs fights for free......

I dont agree that he brings in as much or more money than Hatton only because of disparity between monies in terms of their worth...
                      UK $$ > US $$ > Pilipinas $$

And dont forget that Hatton has a big latino ( i dont use the term hispanic, that **** is wack) following too, they dont call him Manchesters Mexican for nothing....
