it is ridiculous...that these guys say castillo won the fight but they cant explain how when he lost the first 6 rounds...

there are only 12 rounds in boxing.
If you win the first 6 rounds and dont get knock down or knock out.

How can you lose the fight?
the worst floyd could have done was a draw.

and the last 6 rounds ....you cant tell me he didny win one of those close rounds...

It's your opinion. There are many who had Floyd winning a close decision and many who had Castillo winning a close decision. Nothing out of the ordinary we've seen prior to that fight. Floyd closed the book on it with a wide UD in the rematch...Keep it movin

LOL I don't need to go on Wikipedia and drop 57 facts on Floyd to just tell you I believe he'll lose once or twice in his career. No fighter is invincible.

And to answer your question, no I don't believe he's hand picked opponents more than just taking the biggest money fight he could get. People will always say he ducked this and that guy, but that's just the nature of the sport. But I also believe he's not done as a fighter and we're going to see more of him...which again brings me to my original statement that I believe he'll catch an L in his career one time or another.

Take some time to consider, however, how a fighter like Juan Manuel Marquez could end up fighting and losing a title shot in Indonesia for 31,000 dollars. You have to be smart as a prizefighter, you can't just accept fights because promoters, sanctioning bodies, networks, or even pushy fans want you to. Too many fighters have become ****** and puppets to the system. The big promotion companies are well known to have taken advantage of many fighters throughout the years. How much bad press has Don King, Bob Arum, and even the upstart Golden Boy Promotions received when it comes to actually paying their fighters and treating them with respect? Every week we hear about another fighter leaving their promoter, or buying out their contract, or being dropped from a network. Mayweather long ago freed himself from the corruption when he rejected HBO's offer as a slave contract and subsequently bought out his contract with Top Rank promotions. As a result, he has flourished under his own guidance; yet unjustly criticized for being successful.

If PAC Dominates a fighter. That fighter is either weight drained or completely shot. PAC is not taking on prime fighters.

I believe Floyd is at a point now where if and when he returns there isn't a safe money fight for him out there. Pac, Mosley, or Cotto are in no way walk-through fights for him and really, people are excited about it, not simply because they want Floyd to lose but a lot of people want to see him perform at his peak (which IMO wasn't at 130-135 as far as him being fully developed). He's got an opportunity to hush the critics and prove he can take risky fights while in his prime and make the best of it. The problem with a lot of his fans though (not singling you out) is they don't give any other fighter a chance because of that aura of invincibility. But as history has shown, humility can come knocking on your door when you least expect it. You can throw in facts about previous fights, belts, etc...but it means nothing when presented with a new challenge which is why I love Boxing. Nobody is invincible by any means, not even Floyd Mayweather.

LOL yea the thing is a lot of Floyd's fans who aren't objective put Floyd on a pedestal while the rest of the Boxing world looks at Floyd for what he really is, a great fighter who hasn't proven himself at his Pinnacle yet against another fighter in their Pinnacle.
