I'm a big Ricky Hatton fan but I don't like that he's **** talking Cotto, especially since everyone knows that he would get his ass handed to him the second he steps in with the big boys at 147.

I take nothing away from Ricky but if he's going to critisize another man's heart and will he should be able to look in the mirror and demonstrate that if he were in Cotto's shoes he wouldn't do the same, and the bottom line is that he can't. He would never step in the ring with Tony, and we all know why.
    solid post!!!

@ 140 hattons is at his comfortable weight!! 147 is a lil bit way to much for him.. if not.. ask collazo..!!!

hatton >>> cotto in terms of fanbase and draw ...... no denial in that....

hatton beating cotto??? thats another story....

can he do it??? yes he can!! any boxer.. can beat another one....

but if we are gonna use that triangle... . lets see...

hatton vs collazo = almost end it in a draw....

collazo got whopped by shane.. who got beat by UD.. by cotto...

****... this is getting interesting ...

        And retiring isnt quitting.
He's also never been that busted up, so there's no comparison. You cant compare Mayweather's heart because he's never been through that before. Not that that's a bad thing. But Floyd's ever been tested like that. One can only assume that he'd be still standing after such punishment. Same can be said for Hatton really.

The heart thing is overstated. As if Isreal Vasquez has no heart because he quit. It's just really ridiculous by now.

            Steve Bunce did say this.

Maybe it's something in Cotto's demeanor that made Hatton say it.

Personally I don't get anything from Cotto's body language or face when he fights or even when he is not fighting. He looks a very serious, sombre kind of guy.

you stating that hatton beats cotto as a fact....

              welll....

              it speaks for it self!!!

ps... i agree with you on the juanma thing.... he have wayy more dicipline.
I'm just combatting peoples opinions with my own. If somebody says Cotto def beats Hatton @ either weight, I'll say he will def beat Cotto @ 140. @ 147, it's a close fight..............in my opinion only, of course. This will officially be opinion unless the two fight and I don't think it will happen seeing as how Hatton wont move up for that kinda payday and Cotto's body will not allow him to move down anymore.

Link or was this just made up? Either way Hatton should step up and fight Cotto if he feels that way.

As a floyd fan... did you ever think that he was going to get beat by any of his opponents? not any possible opponent.. but the one he have faced....

                    I didnt...
