All I have to say is this

Joe Calzaghe UD Roy Jones Jr.

"bu, but but, Roy wasn't in his prime".

          Hey guy, neither is Joe.

English please. I don't respond in French or German so other than the fact that you are pissed off or trying to sound tough online you can cut that out.

Why did Joe duck johsnon? I'm waiting.

Facts, my friend. Facts. No need for logic at all. History is a wonderful thing. It tells you what happened in the past. You should look into it in order so that you might discover your own distorted view of reality.

Jones, Jr. wasted his talent fighting a string of bums, with Joe Calzaghe waiting in the wings as an undefeated titlist. Made no sense, unless of course Roy just didn't want the fight. Why chance your reputation and record on the real thing when you can make millions fighting bums? Roy sold out to the business end of boxing, and then got a little ****y with Antonio Tarver. Tarver knocked him out with one punch. According to the legions of Jones' nuthuggers, Jones' prime ended the moment before Tarver threw that punch. Bernard Hopkins was a little less cynical and was willing to fight the best. But, Calzaghe presented problems for him too. Thus, no fight.

Meanwhile, Calzaghe goes on his merry way, brutalizing all opponents. But, finally at last, and only after having reached the point in their declining careers where a loss to Calzaghe wouldn't really mean that much, Hopkins and Jones decided it was time for Calzaghe. Time for a nice pay day and a last hurrah. Not unexpectedly, they both lost. And, boxing history for this particular generation of fighters is finally made.

You DO realize that Jones' questionable choice of opposition is still a lot better than JC's career, don't you? Why keep on sounding ridiculous?

1997 Camacho KOs 5 Leoanrd. Neither is in his prime. By your 'logic' Camacho would have beat a prime Leonard.

                      Now go and think.
