I give Cotto massive props for wanting the rematch..he has a huge pair of COJONES!! I don't see what Cotto can do different..but if he wants the fight that bad, then make it happen...he will be ruined after the rematch.

exactly. That's what gets me……ppl say he should take a tune-up, or that he's damaged psychologically……….but the fact is, everything we hear from cotto is that he believes he had the wrong strategy, and can change some things, and be successful in a rematch. doesn't sound much like a guy that's damaged, it sounds like a guy who believes in himself....and thats the right attitude to have when it comes to being successful in ANYTHING. always feel like there's something YOU can do, to affect an outcome. cotto's fine....DO NOT BELIEVE THE HYPE....

Despite what I originally thought about cotto's conditioning, i believe he came in very good shape for the fight. Though in alot of pre-fight interviews he stated that his preparation was no more advanced or greater than his training for judah and mosley... a mistake.

By the second round, i believe that cotto knew he could not hurt Margarito if he stuck to his usual game. He got hit with a body shot that sent him to the ropes, and though he through a vicious uppercut to Margos head, the tornado smiled and kept on coming forward.

I dont know if Cotto can win this fight. But what I do know is that he is a true champion for taking on Margo with no hesitation in the first fight, then wanting to come back into the ring with him for the second.

Even if you love Margo, you have to show respect for Cotto, he is a great warrior.

Cotto is pissed. 1st time he call anybody out. Margie is gunna get played in the rematch. Cotto had him looking kinda dumb for the 1st half of the fight. I think with a clear nose, Cotto cruises to a UD.

Cotto has absolutely no chance against Margarito.

If he trains properly and comes back and excutes his game plan better then he did in July he defintely can win. there is no can't in boxing Buster Douglas showed me that in 1990. Will he win that is osmething that remians to be seena dn i will defintely tune in too find out.

Yes he was. Cotto is going to get knocked out even earlier the next time around probably within 8 rounds.

Who's to say Margarito won't bust Cotto's nose up again??? Or that Margarito will be more than willing to once again give up the first half of the fight while still putting on relentless pressure???

I think Cotto makes it the full 12 rounds this time around, but I see it basically playing out the same way: Cotto dominates with his superior boxing through round 6, Margarito's pressure starts taking effect and winning him rounds in the second half of the fight. Tony scores a KD or two late, and that'll be the difference on the scorecards.

That's how I envision it anyways! Either way, it'll be a great fight!
