If he trains properly and comes back and excutes his game plan better then he did in July he defintely can win. there is no can't in boxing Buster Douglas showed me that in 1990. Will he win that is osmething that remians to be seena dn i will defintely tune in too find out.

bro, after that in the bold, i had no reason to keep reading...margo was ahead on two score cards and one was even. please educated yourself. it kills me when cotto fans leave that fact out. what fact you ask? that margo was winning the fight on the cards before the 11th round.

Said it before, say it again... Cotto will learn from it... Cotto is a beast and until Margarito he hurt everyone at least so much that they had respect for his power... Cotto couldn't believe it as it happened he tried his best but it was too much... I mean if you would tell a Tyson hey you won't hurt your next opponnent he would say: yeah, for sure... and if it happens do you think a Tyson would start to box like a Ali??? He learned from it minus a broken nose probably a few clinches and not every punch thrown with too much power and he will be fine... it won't be a fight of the year... but there is always some1 who is stronger, time to realize and do what you got to do to win

I spoke to a gay psychic with 1 eye and he foresees Cotto winning by UD 116-112.

The great John Ruiz agrees completely with this statement.

well considering the fact that margo won 1 out of the first 6 rounds, then completely swept the fight after the 6th round, it makes sense he would be ahead, especially after the 2 kd's……bottom line is, cotto controlled the first half of the fight until margarito broke his nose, and he gassed out......there's 2 ways to beat margarito: either by fighting the perfect fight, which is waht mayweather would do, and thats by outboxing him over 12 rounds....the other way is to beat him at his own game, ALA what paul williams did. he fought margarito's type of fight, but most importantly had the chin and the stamina to be able to do so. we know cotto can't beat margarito by fighting his type of fight, the question is, does cotto have the ability to fight the "perfect fight?" that will determine whether or not he wins the rematch.........

***in exactly. most cotto fans, for i dont know what reason, keep stating cotto would of won the fight had he kept boxing. WRONG! i got madd respect for cotto but i dont think he can beat Tony. Marg took all of his best shots and didnt even flinch. nuff said.

margarito started all the nose problems in the 2nd round(the one round he won in the early stages of the fight). the point i was making is, cotto fans act like the fight is only 6 rounds, that is all they ever say. facts are, margo was winning the fight. also to you're comment about paul williams, please don't ever compare pw's win over margo to cotto. i have said this to many times before. cotto is not as tall as williams, and has nowhere near the chin of PW.

i think alot of fans have to remember that margo hurt cotto several times in the first fight(body and head), cottto never hurt margo. so that means that cotto can't take margo's power, margo can take cotto's. the question i have is, how exactly is cotto going to beat margo in the second fight? the first fight, cotto was all retreat. he picked his spots and ran the rest of the time. so what will he do different? stand and trade? go to the body more(he will have to stand and trade to do that)? the rematch will be even harder for cotto IMHO, fans acted like cotto will just land at will, and margo will not land at all.

cotto has more of an up hill battle to beat margo, than margo does to beat cotto. it is ok to be a fan of a fighter, but think about what you say before you say it.

for all of guys that think cotto will make all of these adjustments, here's a thought. what if margo says "hey this guy can't hurt me" and goes right after cotto, and drags him into another tuff fight, but early in thefight this time? all the adjustments go right out the window...just think about it.

P.S. this not all addressed to tyde13, but mainly for all cotto fans.

i say cotto will beat marg on points in the rematch if he isnt too affected by the loss and executes his body attack, movement and clinching for the WHOLE fight

adding to what i said, miguel is a true champion

even if he loses the rematch he will still be a good fighter in my eyes and a fave of mine, its possible that margarito could just be his kryptonite.....

i hope he keeps fighting even if he loses the rematch
