I give Cotto massive props for wanting the rematch..he has a huge pair of COJONES!! I don't see what Cotto can do different..but if he wants the fight that bad, then make it happen...he will be ruined after the rematch.
I agree 100%....I enjoy good fights like these..Let me say that I have liked Cotto since he was at lighter weights....but how much more can he prepare against a guy that doesn't stop coming at you and doesn't stop throwing.

Of course Marg is not unstoppable...but man! Cotto has to fight the perfect fight and get the UD or SD....everyone knows Cotto will not KO Marg...it has to go the distance and it has to be "thee" perfect fight for Cotto...he might try brawling with him in the last rounds or last few seconds....don't do it any sooner though...either way it will be a hell of fight!!! Can't wait to be there again...

well see now if Dan and Tony's team hadn't done business prior in a successful card at Home Depot Center WITHOUT Bob's permission THEN I would say yeah BUT

they did. In fact, Dan and Tony's team are very friendly with each other as they run in the same circles and yet Dan never called Tony's team about the offer

      not once

so the offer wasn't a valid one as it was never presented to the team at all
Go it!!!!!!!! Still think they should fight again!!!!!!!

People read any bull**** offer in a press release and just take it as fact.

i dont see cotto beating marga, no matter what cotto does in his training it wont keep marga off of him. marga just going to keep on comming and force cotto to the ropes.

If he trains properly and comes back and excutes his game plan better then he did in July he defintely can win. there is no can't in boxing Buster Douglas showed me that in 1990. Will he win that is osmething that remians to be seena dn i will defintely tune in too find out.
that's exactly the way i feel.............

that's what they said about mayweather-hatton. "hatton was gonna pressure the **** outta him, mayweather would have no answer." bottom line is, the BOXER always has the advantages......
cotto was WINNING the fight in july. he wasn't being beaten to **** till later on. bottom line is, cotto is faster, overall better boxer, and can **** too. but you gotta know your opponent. u aint gonna KO margarito, so you use your advantages. box the **** outta him, and get outta dodge b4 he can return fire. let's be real, the broken nose didn't help cotto down the strectch, hard to breathe through a broken nose, and if you can't get oxygen, you're gonna wear down even faster. credit tony, tho for breaking the nose.
but its ridiculous to say cotto CAN'T BEAT margarito. he just has to come out with the mindset that he's gonna box for 12 full rounds, and he'll be okay. he ****ed up when he tried to go toe-to-toe w/ margarito the first time, and also when he laid on the ropes and let margo tee off. if cotto plans on BOXING for a full 12, he wins a wide UD.........margarito is not unstoppable by any means, but cotto has to come out w/ the right game plan, and be DISCIPLINED enough to stick to it. champions bounce back. cotto is the far superior boxer, he just has to use the tools he has, b/c margarito doesn't have those same tools. i'd favor cotto to win the rematch, even though he was stopped the first time around.

margarito's not hard to beat, guys. you just gotta have the right mindset to box for 12, and you gotta have the stamina to be able to do it. sounds harsh, but the truth is, when you lose to a fighter like margarito, it probably says more about YOU than it does about him. and i say that w/ all due respect to him and his fans....but its true.

I think Cintron knocks Cotto out..Cintron has a huge right hand..p4p one of the best..If Cotto get knocked down by Torres..Cintron could catch him..

but if not..Cotto out boxes him and gets a late KO.

Cotto can win if he boxes like he did for the first 6 rounds, and keep it up..

Margarito Vs. Cotto? I still that was a GREAT fight. The highlight reel is pretty exciting.

Yes, Cotto was out boxing and out pointing Margarito. But Margarito kept moving forward. It was almost as if Margarito wasn't even phased by his punching power.

I wonder if those shots that Cotto threw would have made more of an impact if he landed them to the body.

your "IF NOT" is probably more correct. cintron is NOT the warrior margarito is, and he can be hurt also. turth is, cotto has just as good of chance, if not better, to KO cintron as cintron does w/ cotto. if he doesn't KO cintron, he boxes the extreme **** outta him, but i see cotto stopping cintron......

like i said, cintron's not the warrior margarito is, if cotto gave cintron what he gave margarito, he stops him. but just like against tony, cotto has to be cautious. he can't go in there "expecting" a KO. he just has to use his boxing skills, and be PREPARED to box a full 12, and if the KO presents itself, take it. but have you noticed, the successful fighters just want to win, they don't NEED to KO somebody.....cotto is a far superior boxer to cintron AND margarito, he just needs the right mindset, and the right game plan. he fights his fight, neither of those two can beat him.......
