Here's what I mean. He never fought Michael Nunn, Nigel Benn, Gerald McClellan, Chris Eubank, Joe Calzaghe,or rematched with Bernard Hopkins after X's victory over Trinidad..which would have made a bundle of money. Now WHO was responsible for any of these "matches that never were", at this point, is a MOOT POINT. Time has passed. They didn't happen. Let the fan or critic draw their own conclusions as to why.

Calzaghe, on the other hand, has been disresptected in America for years primarily because of two things...well, three. 1. Lack of general respect in the "colonies" for the WBOgus belt which he wore. 2. Lack of respect for the competion he fought....ironic, considering American-Jones own resume for the most part...with a few obvious exceptions. and 3. his "non-Americaness". Argue all you want, fellow yanks...you know it's true.

Now, here they are, Calzghe riding a title wave of praise following his success over the last few years and he's about the face a Jones who is obviously past his best.

What if Jones wins? And wins impressively?

If this happens, not only will Jones soiled reputation after the Tarver-Johnson destructions be put under the microscope again...for the better; but the exact opposite for Calzaghe will take place.

Though I think Joltin' Joe should win at this stage...it is a very risky proposition, "historically speaking".....in my opinion, anyway.

is this the same K-DOGG that used to write and post on ESB's public forums?

The version of Toney that Roy fought was not the best.

              Ruiz,Toney,Hop all beat Calz
              Harding,Griffin,Hill,Tarver,Johnson possibly beat Calz

if he went thru Roy's resume (including the weight fluctuation and age he fought at), he would be something like 49-7

For those who voted "Yes he would" how would he be able to beat Ruiz?
