And your reasoning for Joe having no chance against Ruiz was that he looked bad against Hopkins.
Ruiz and Hopkins being almost identical in style of course.

* Waits for the lame ass -I was "taking the piss" bull**** that you'll spew.
Joe has no chance against Ruiz unless he at LEAST proves that he can be dominant at LHW. Even then that is not proof but at least it's more of a possibility.
But if you'd ever boxed or been around a real fighter in your life- you'd know that. Now go back to scoring "internet victories" you winner you.

Proving yourself to be dominant at LHW does not mean you'll be successful 30lbs above.
We're talking about one fighter - John Ruiz - he got beat by two former middleweights already. Hes absolutely ****e. One of the worst HW Champs in history. Joe could come in at 201lbs, slap flurry in and out and Ruiz wouldnt touch him.

Also thanks for repeating what I said about LHW. If Calz didn't look like pathetic crap at that weight I MIGHT humor him at heavy.
Ruiz beat an ATG Heavy fighter. He beat Holy convincingly. Your boyfriend had to wait till they all become old to man up and come across that pond to fight them.
Also dummy: when using Tony as an example try and remember that he's beaten other heavies and campaigned successfully at CRUISER before he jumped to heavy (something Calz would never have the balls to do).
So go ahead and respond with your usual smileys and LOLS and emoticons at your own lame ass jokes. Say that I'm stalking you and blah blah blah Calz rules Yanks sucks is all anyone with a brain will read.
You should try visiting America you might actually like it.
Oh wait- you should try boxing, you might actually begin to understand it.
Back to jerking off to the union jack for you!

More hypocrisy.
And nice how you continually ignore Hopkins ducking of Joe 6 years ago but carry on slapping yourself in the face with hypocrisy.

Try to discuss boxing objectively. Calzaghe does not beat Ruiz.
If you'd been in a ring and EVER fought you'd understand this. The end.

Calzaghe trounces Ruiz by a wide decision.
Still ignoring "your hero" ducking Joe? Funny as ****.

I voted No. I think Joe would lose to Ruiz and Tarver.
A prime Toney would have beat him, but Jones Jr didnt beat a prime Toney due to the issue of him being weight drained (i think Roy would have beat him anyway tho). Joe would have a very good shot against the Toney that turned up to fight Jones that night.

An interesting thought occurred to me about this fight....concerning the "legacy" of both.
Jones, while held in high esteem among many, is still detracted by others for his refusal...or inabilty to face certain fighters in the ring due to his or their inclinations, thus leaving his "legacy" in doubt in some ways.
Here's what I mean. He never fought Michael Nunn, Nigel Benn, Gerald McClellan, Chris Eubank, Joe Calzaghe,or rematched with Bernard Hopkins after X's victory over Trinidad..which would have made a bundle of money. Now WHO was responsible for any of these "matches that never were", at this point, is a MOOT POINT. Time has passed. They didn't happen. Let the fan or critic draw their own conclusions as to why.
Calzaghe, on the other hand, has been disresptected in America for years primarily because of two things...well, three. 1. Lack of general respect in the "colonies" for the WBOgus belt which he wore. 2. Lack of respect for the competion he fought....ironic, considering American-Jones own resume for the most part...with a few obvious exceptions. and 3. his "non-Americaness". Argue all you want, fellow yanks...you know it's true.
Now, here they are, Calzghe riding a title wave of praise following his success over the last few years and he's about the face a Jones who is obviously past his best.
What if Jones wins? And wins impressively?
If this happens, not only will Jones soiled reputation after the Tarver-Johnson destructions be put under the microscope again...for the better; but the exact opposite for Calzaghe will take place.
Though I think Joltin' Joe should win at this stage...it is a very risky proposition, "historically speaking".....in my opinion, anyway.
