Somebody needs to tell this ****ot that Pavlik was a middlewieght and got offered a shot to fight the middleweight champ. Why would he reject that to fight the SMW guy? The second fight was under a rematch clause which Taylor excerised, Pavlik had no choice. Since then Calzaghe has been running from Pavlik. He calls himself the legned killer, **** Oleg Maskaev can knockout Ali now, does that make him a legend killer?

I'm really surprised at the lack of respect given to a Champion who's been on top for 11 years and is unbeaten, regarded as the best 168lb-er in history.

Even assuming that some of his comments are aimed at promoting arttificial bad feeling, to get fans riled up and demanding a future fight, you have to admit that, compared to him, Pavlik is a mere beginner with far lesser skills than Calzaghe.

I don't think that Pavlik would even dispute thisd, so why all the anger and crudeness?? This is boxing...this is business.....

Well I can understand why Cal would bring up his win over Kessler because make no mistake it was a huge win. After Hopkins beat Tito he lived on that win for 2 years until he got DLH so why are you surprised that a champ would brag about beating the #2 guy in his division so decisively?
