I don't have it mixed up brah. Just off the top of my head before I go to work I feel if Joe Calzaghe beat Jermaine Taylor instead of Mikkel Kessler he would get 100x more props. Not all Americans are top dog, especially at the lower weights but I was hoping people would already know i meant weights 140ish and up.

PS Thats if Jermaine had only 1 loss to Joe like Kessler. If they had the same record you would get so many more recognizition beating a top america.

    over and out

I'm not bothered about Joe getting probs from Americans, you know why? Cos it'll never happen.

Beat Manfredo = Manfredo was nothing more than a contender (True)
Beat Lacy = Lacy was a bum (He was a World Champion)
Beat Kessler = Kessler was a Euro Bum (He was a World Champion)
If He Had Beaten Taylor = He was overated like Lacy and already owned by Hopkins
Beat Hopkins = Hopkins was Old (He was still a World Champion)
If He Beats Jones = Jones was Past It
If He Beats Pavlik = Pavlik was One Dimensional

Whatever he does it will never be enough for him to gain probs from some US Fight Fans

                  It isn't.

Since the start of boxing USA has clearly had the UK's number.
The de facto world champion back in the bare knuckle days was British. In the gloved days the American champion was crowned "World Champion" by Americans and because it took six weeks in a steamship to get to Europe there wasn't really any open contention for this "world championship". It was simply another example of Americans beating other Americans and then conferring world status on the competition.

Way back in the Jack Johnson days the UK champion was just looked as another stepping stone to lead into a bigger fight with Americans.
This is untrue. The English Champion was not a stepping stone due to the amount of time and money it would take to set up a bout. Travel was extremely expensive and time consuming so fighting a "stepping stone" on another continent was untenable. I'm glad you brought up Jack Johnson though, a man who was unable to defend his title in the good ol US of A because of the colour of his skin.

Whats worse is their fighters and fans now consider fighting Americans not that important in a career.
US dominance in boxing has waned. There is no shame in that.

Brits listen up we have whooped your ass in war, boxing, and whatever else countries would care about.
In war? So British ex-patriots making an expensive nuisance of themselves against British regulars with the help of the French counts as an "American ass whooping" (whatever the **** a "Whooping" is. I think it's that idiotic noise that game show audiences make.) does it? Let's not forget that you then got your arses kicked by the Canadians. Haha.

You judge your fighters by fighting Americans and no one else. We have always been top dog and we are the measuring stick.
                  Top heavyweight: Ukraine
                  Top Cruiserweight: French
                  Top Light Heavyweight: Brit
Top Super Middleweight: The same brit
Top Middleweight: Yank - you guys can have that one
Top Junior Middleweight: Sergio Mora. Haha.
                  Top Welterweight - ******
                  Top Jr Welterweight - Brit
                  Top Lightweight - Cuban
                  Top Super Feather - Mexican
                  Top Feather - Indonesian
                  Top Jr Feather - Mexican
                  Top Bantam - Japanese
                  Top Jr Bantam - Mexican
                  Top Flyweight - Philipino
Top Jr Fly - Peurto Rico
                  Top Strawweight - Japan

You got one plus Sergio Mora out of 17. Well don, you dominant fellow.

This also applys to fighters like Kessler and others like him. You arent anything until you fight a top American. Till you step up to the dish you're just a paper champion.
The top American super middleweight was Jeff Lacy.

                  Any more?

You say certain fighters are bums, but at the time "we have to beat them to prove ourselves?!?!"

Also the olympic results prove you wrong, we got 3 medals from 7 boxers, you got 1 medal from 12 boxers.
