Dude can take punches along with BLOCKING 90% of anything coming his way anyhow... HOP by UD. Calzaghe would never in a million years KO HOP. ONLY chance calzaghe would have is if he out pointed him and he BARLEY out pointed a 43 year old version of HOP. SO again, a young and PRIME HOP by UD (laughing and raising his hands after 12 rounds, with not even a mark on the face, as always)...........

lol Who brought up LACY?????? this isnt about LACY, was LACY even born when HOP was PRIME??????? hahaha get outta here....
You obviously haven't seen much of Hopkins when he was young because he has most certainly been hurt and very closed to knocked out. Go watch more of him. You'll find it eventually.

I think it would be very close to be honest. They both fought very different in their primes but I would still take Hopkins by the slightest of margins. I think people are looking too much at the Tito fight in which Hopkins was way bigger and Tito just not smart enough for Hopkins. Calzaghe is a smarter fighter than Trinidad. Hopkins did have some trouble in his prime against brawling, spoiling fighters that were not nearly as good as Calzaghe. I would still take Hopkins but it would not be anything close to an easy fight and I could definitely see Calzaghe winning as well.

Prime Calzaghe would win even bigger than he already did.

didn't hopkins just beat this dude? coulda swore he was the guy landing all the punches and calzaghe was the guy missing and walking into punches all night. strange sport we have here where if the judges just don't like your way of fighting they give it to the other guy just for showing up and not getting knocked out.

He was down twice against Segundo Mercado although I wouldn't necessarily say he was hurt. More like he was completely spent. Strange fight that was...

Joe Calzaghe would be THE BEST EVER if he was fighting in the OLYMPICS.... he would out score any person that ever boxed in the OLYMPICS, easy. He only wins by just simply throwing more wild (god I hope I hit something) punches...... sad sad sad... just simply sad...

I get annoyed watching Joe that it disgusts me. I am glad he is coming to the end of his career. More excited I think. I cant stand watching OLYMPIC style boxing that much any more and thats all Joe Calzaghe is...

Prime Hopkins was drawing with Mercado in his prime (getting knocked down twice too) while Calzaghe was beating Eubank.

Bhop wins a close fight that could have went either way imo.
