As for Trinidad not coming to fight, I can't imagine anyone not serious, getting into the ring for with, of all people Roy Jones, the top lb4lb star since Sugar Ray Robinson, and for you to say so, shows how little you know about boxing. How would Oscar have done against Jones, I wonder?? Of course that's a silly question, and I shouldn't have asked it, but it was rhetorical.
Allow me to answer anyway! He would have gotten KTFO!!!! He is trash and is destroying the sport IMO.

      This is a fair point.

Winner takes on MONEY MAY (Thinking that he will return) and the winner of that takes on Del La Hoya. MAYBE waaaaaaay off the wall but while MONEY and COTTO fight, Del La Hoya and PAC could fight and the winner of that could face winner of MONEY MAY and COTTO. I think that would be one hell of some match ups. Anyone agree or is that way off the wall?????
        Makes perfect sense...good call...my pick...Cotto Vs Pac...Cotto victory!

There was no need for this to ever happen anyway.

If Oscar was as done as you say he was, then how did he manage to stave off Tito for another seven rounds as you like to put it? If that one body punch did him in, how did he manage to go through another seven rounds taking more blows? Oh, and never look hurt I might add? Granted, it seems the body is Oscar's weak spot as he has a granite chin, but c'mon... it's a little farfetched.

Top lb4lb? Yeah, 10+ years ago, not when Tito fought him. That was a payday for Tito and to say otherwise is ignorance. I'm a huge fan of RJJ, but that was a payday for both fighters, even more so for a washed up Tito. Nothing else. And you act as if I know nothing of boxing when you spew **** like that?

Oscar vs RJJ? Obviously Roy, given the weight he and Trinidad fought at. Drop Roy to 154 where Oscar is more comfortable and you'd have a more competetive match. Much more so then Tito gave anyway. I still think Roy would whoop ODH's ass though.

maybe, but he is in GREAT shape and well he brings excitement... The sport needs that... he may never when a fight again (I don't believe that) but he will always bring fans and money to the sport... something the boxing needs to remain on top over the MMA world.....
