Trinidad is the joke and you are too ****** to see it.

    #1 - Trinidad can't make weight

#2 - Trinidad wants a 50/50 split??? Is he serious?? The world wants to see the better fighter, DLH, not some washed up bum.

#3 - His daddy denied him the first time they were going to fight knowing the ass woopin his son was going to take and this time is no difference.

Trinidad stepping aside was the right thing to do. This was going to be a meaningless fight anyways and DHL/Cotto is the better fight for boxing.

        Oh please.

What makes Oscar better? His fame? He's only sought after for his name - You act like Oscar's beaten someone recently that we should be talking about!

I am glad the fight didn't happen because Trinidad doesn't take boxing seriously anymore all he wants is money. But truth be told regardless of how the last fight between them should went Trinidad got the win. So if Trinidad was serious about boxing and got in shape, why shouldn't the split be 50/50? What De la Hoya needs to understand is just because you are the draw doesn't mean that you should get everything in your favor to a fighter you lost to when negotiating.

            Hahaha... you said it right...
Tito should retire or maybe go to WWE and get in tangled with Bigshow... better yet with the McMahons... tag team match, Tito and Sr vs The McMahons...

No, your 100% wrong. You are bringing some backyard logic to this topic. In real life and in the business world, DLH is the draw, always has been. Getting a fight with DLH will promise you the most money you have ever made in your career, so why should DLH split 50/50?

It's kind of like you and I owning a company and I come up with the product, the marketing and the strategy to sell it and you want me to split the profits 50/50?? No ****ing way.

This was inevitable. There's no way both fighters could've met at a decent catch weight that would play even for both. Tito can barely crack 168 and Oscar staying put at 150-154.

But a Cotto vs Oscar fights just makes more sense and can be marketed as a "Passing of the Torch" or "Old Lion vs Young Lion". Though I believe Cotto will beat Oscar, it'll be a much more exciting fight than Oscar vs Floyd by far & will catapult Cotto into the limelight.

I said De la Hoya is the draw there is no dis*****g that. De la Hoya lost to Trinidad and you acting like Trinidad isn't a name who brings out fans also. Not as many as De la Hoya but who does.

You left out the biggest part in the bolded statement I gave you the start up money. So without my money you wouldn't even get that **** off the ground it be nothing but a good ass idea.

Why is anyone talking about the money issue? The real issue is that Trinidad is fat. The most he should be fighting at is 160. Personally I'm impressed with De La Hoya for being in shape in the late stages of his career. Trinidad not so much, he has the body of Kirk Johnson.

Trinidad stuggled to make 170 against RJJ

How was he ever going to make 154 vs De La Hoya?

No chance of a Rematch.. even if they did both want it..

Trinidad vowed never to fight below 165 again, and DLH aint gonna move up 10 pounds for a rematch he could possibly lose.
