They have masses of ring intelligence, tactics, and are sound at almost everything. Your just building up the excuse for a Roy loss, before it's even happened, and it's no definite either way.

Mayweather genuinely ducked Cotto amongst some others which lets not go into, over a period of years. Calzaghe has several fight options on the table for once, he says he's most likely to pick the one he always said was his 1st preference, and you guys make out he's ducking Pavlik, lol your making **** up its so chidish and subjective it's unreal.

Jones and Calzaghe are only a few years apart and both past they're primes, Roy's a tad older and more mileage, ok so what but he's progressively changing his game to suite and can raise it. Calzaghe seriously suffers with hand injuries and brittle hands, has lost a lot of power cos they break mid fight, don't hear you talking of that quite serious hindrance to Calzaghe's form. Funny that, ppl choosing what to credit or exaggerate to suite.
Honestly, I would love to spend the rest of my last day before work resumes going back and forth with you on the merits of Calzaghe but oddly enough, I'm not going to.

You're biased as **** and are incapable of seeing anything wrong with your God. I have little respect for you and I have better things to do than engage in a conversation with someone who I know is completely blinded.

Like I said, this forum would be a ****load better if people weren't affiliated with certain fighters to the point of extreme obsession.

    Get a grip, man. Honestly.

I'm also disappointed that he chose Jones instead of Pavlik, and even moreso now that he has decided to retire after the Jones fight, but even all that isn't as bad as Mayweather's instant retirement.

At least he's fighting someone and letting us know it will be his last fight.

The major thing that annoys me about this is that it's only about the money, his last fight should be in Wales where he has packed out crowds every year, not in Vegas where i feel like a fool for buying my ticket early when i could have got it around half price at the arena!

well I AM disappointed... All thou I would have given him the advantage over pavlik based on his boxing performance over kessler and the fact that it would've been at a higher weight probably favoring him...Oh Well

I care for Jones-Calzaghe as much as I cared for Jones-Trinidad....
