I think skill wise Floyd is one of the top, but that doesn't define being great. Take into Consideration pacquiao or cotto. But you haven't answered my question. Why do you believe Floyd is the only fighter that is keeping boxing alive? You mean to tell me Taylor, Cotto, Pavlik, pacquiao, judah, mosley just to name a few, don't keep the sport just as much alive?

I say that because he sold 3.5-3.7 million out of the 4.8 million fights that were on PPV. Im not saying he himself is boxing, what Im saying is that he is the MAIN ATTRACTION of the sport. He is keeping the eye of mainstream media. Out of all the mainstream pub that boxing is getting, 85% of it is coming from Floyd, the 10% from DLH and the rest from fighters like KP.

Well answer me this since you are so insistent on this question. Who in ALL of BOXING is making fans interested in OTHER FIGHTERS? NONE, you cant fight it. KP and Cotto and ODLH are the next biggest stars. What other fighters are they making interest in?

why not over 2.5 million? also, if what floyd is doing is good for boxing, bringing in more fans, why was Pavlik/Taylor dissapointing, why were cotto's ratings against gomez so low? their personalities or promotions for the fights shoudnt matter.
