Zab Judah- Good name. Has only lost twice from KO one of them coming from Miguel Cotto. Wouldnt say he's washed up yet but he was coming off of a losing streak just like he came off a loss when Floyd fought him in a fight that went ALL 12 ROUNDS.

Shane Mosley - Really? You really want to claim Shame Mosley isnt a credible win in a Cotto/Floyd thread? Alright, this old and washed up 36 year old was a former WBO Welterweight champion and beat Oscar De La Hoya TWICE, not once, but TWICE. What does that make De La Hoya? and I'm sure you're going to bring up a questionable decision that Shane got over Oscar in their second fight so then lets mention that he beat Luis Collazo CONVINCINGLY who MANY feel beat Ricky Hatton. The same Ricky Hatton who was deemed worthy enough to fight Floyd Mayweather.

Antonio Margarito - Former WBO world Welterweight champion and CURRENT IBF welterweight. Was avoided by many fighters in their prime like Shane Mosley and Floyd Mayweather because the risk involved far outweight the reward. Very powerful, but lacks speed and boxing ability. Hand made for in the same sense that Carlos Baldomir was made for Floyd. Will stand infront of you and too slow to react to punches.

The fact is, Miguel Cotto's resume is littered with former and future champions. The question his resume is just pure hate. He takes on challenges and fights through ADVERSITY, getting hurt and coming back to win like a TRUE champion does. EVERYONE also says that his next opponent will KO him and that he will lose, he's ALWAYS the underdog, but he proves the haters wrong all the time.

Like I said, its easy to take someone's resume and just point out the negative aspects. i'm took a page out of the Mayweather stan book and did exactly what they do to his opponent's resumes.

Jesus Chavez - his opponent's combined win/losses total 554 W - 276 L. Chavez may have well been a gardener, because dude was hella green.

Diego Corrales - completely WEIGHTDRAINED just to fight Floyd and its effects were evident. Corrales didnt look like himself that night.

Jose Luis Castillo - A lot of people think he beat Floyd in their first fight so that pretty much could have been an L.

Henry Bruseles - Not one recognizable name or test on his resume prior to him stepping up in quality and fighting Floyd. As green as you can get.

Arturo Gatti - Known through out the boxing world as Arturo "Punching Bag" Gatti. The only big names on his resume are Oscar De La Hoya and Mickey Ward which he lost to both. Taylor made for Floyd so that he could look great.

Sharmba Mitchell - Who? Only real name on his resume prior to meeting up with Floyd was Kosta Tzu who knocked him out TWICE before the 8th round? Could this had influenced Floyd decsion to fight him? Who knows. Another calculated win for Floyd Mayweather's resume

Zab Judah - Good name and according to HtownTexan, NO CHIN. Yet Floyd couldnt KO this no chin having dude and went ALL 12 rounds with Zab. Not to mention that he was comin off of a loss to Baldomir. And people like to point out that he gave Floyd his first unofficial KD of his career.

Carlos Manuel Baldomir - A journeyman who got lucky. Only names on his resume are Arturo Gatti (HA), Zab Judah and Joshua Clottey who was WINNING the fight untill he got DQ'd. He also had 9 losses when Floyd decided to challenge him. Baldomir is the epitome of "tailor-made".

Oscar De La Hoya - Old, past his prime. Lost 2 of his last 4 fights (one of them by KO) prior to meeting Floyd which should really be 3 of his last 4 because of the gift he was given agsinst Felix Sturm. A fight were EVERYONE agrees Sturm was robbed. . Was inactive for 2 years before getting back in the game and challenging Floyd.

Ricky Hatton - Rode a waive of overratedness after beating Kosta Tzu. Was brought back to reality when almost losing to Luis Collazo who some people felt actually won the fight. Also tailor made for Floyd as MANY people thought Hatton shouldnt be in the same ring with Floyd.

I'm assuming you know that Floyd Mayweather Jr. was under Bob Arum's promotion up untill the DLH fight, basically almost his whole career from 1996-2006. So basically Arum employed the same "easyroad" tactics that he is using for Cotto, according to you, for Floyd as well by your logic, no? Or is this, like in many cases with Floyd fans, also "different". Bob arum wasnt trying to protect his cash cow and Floyd's "0" according to your logic?
