The tricky thing is that while Hobson is saying that Hatton is going to fight Mayweather you're happy to suggest that Hobson is not Hatton's promoter. However if Hobson were to say that Hatton will fight, for example, Paul Malignaggi next, then $in and the gang will be all over it like flies on ****.

Hatton's a free agent. He can use a different promoter for every fight if he chooses. My guess is that Warren will be in on his next fight in the UK but he'll continue to use Hobson for fights in the US.

Why are you so hung up about whether he fought him in his 3 fight HBO deal or not? It's happening 1 fight later FFS. He only ever said Floyd was a possibilty for the 3rd fight, he didn't say anything definite. The DLH fight scuppered any possibilty of that happening anyway so blame Floyd for that one, peewee.

Fighting the #1 guy in the sport is not something that you can let go. If you have the chance and don't fight him, you are saying, "I don't want to be considered the best" or you are sitting around waiting for him to lose. It's pathetic either way.
