Even in his loses to Sanders and Brewster (the latter is a hugely strange) he stood up and never was clearly knocked out. Or you are trying to say that Douglas was better boxer then Wlad? I think Wlad may do very well against Marciano. The Rock was too small, too slow and too average in terms of boxing skills, Wlad would jab his face all night and push down on the back of his neck, how would Rock's already troublesome back hold up?

Rock's best chan would be landing a big shot but could he reach wlad?

I agree with foreman and tyson but I think wlad gets shavers out of there. shavers didnt take a great shot and wlad is much more accurate a puncher than shavers altho less powerful with one punch of course

Dempsey, louis, marciano, were between 185-205 and not cutting weight,,,

in today's terms that would be like wlad vs Kovalev or stevenson,,,,,

true, the older guys beat alot of big guys, but guys like wlad, lewis, vitali arent just big, they have great skills,,,
I really dont see any of the older guys matching up well vs wlad, except for johnson due to his power and awkward defense, tunney because he could really box and move, and louis would have a shot due to his overall skillset,, but dempsey, willard, walcott, moore, charles would just be too small..
remember when roy jones, one of the most talented fighters ever came to heavy,, did anyone think he actually had a chance vs lennox,,, Huge guys with huge power and skills are nearly impossible to beat,,,

Plus it seems a big factor in Johnson's style was wearing his opponents down by clinching and holding them in place, like Wlad does to his opponents. Johnson seemed to completely manhandle and do what he wanted against his opponents in that respect, yet if he fought Wlad it would be him being manhandled and unable to move.
