    1. Calzaghe, we've already pointed out how that is completely off-base.

Now we move to Rochigianni who umm, Roy signed to fight only to have Rochigianni no-show at the first presser and disappear for weeks before pulling out and admitting an alcohol problem. Do you have any dispute with that or should we go on to the next name?

I got no dispute with that. But both were rated in 1997 and 98. A fight couldn't have been looked at than, or were guys like Dell Valle, Otis Grant and Griffin bigger names?

What could have happened? This is a fight that COULD have been made, and that is exactly what we're talking about, no?

Come on...I mean, come on. Graciano was ranked? What does that mean? Rochiggiani was a forgotten name until he beat Nunn in 1998. In 1997, Jones was trying to get his WBC belt back from Griffin! And you are really lowballing Del Valle, who went into Hill's backyard and lost a controversial decision to Hill in a bout where he dropped the champ. But anyway, Jones agreed to fight Rochiggiani for the WBC crown after Graciano took the sanctioning body to court. Guess who pulled out? So what else is there to discuss? That they were both ranked at one point? I agree! LOL.

When could it have been made? Honestly JAB, I get the sense youre looking at rankings and boxrec to surmise what's up. Not...if this person was negotiating with that, or this was happening or that. It's the difference between following and looking in hindsight. Like saying, it could have been made at the end of 1993. Ask yourself...why wasn't it?

RJJ isn't even ranked top 150 atg and never will be. He was an hbo myth, sad people still believe in him.

ANYBODY can look good against the bums rjj fought in his prime. All those bolo punches and dropping his hands don't mean **** against part timers.

When RJJ dropped his hands against a real boxer he got k.o'd cold

The only time that fight would of made sense would of been in 95. What was the point of offering Benn a fight in 96, when he was 0-3 in his last three fights?

Calzaghe fighting Eubank for the vacant wbo belt made no sense. How could a semi retired lhw be the wbo ranked no 2 contender???

                  My list:
                  Liles -smw
                  Nunn-smw/lhw
                  Benn- smw
                  McClellan - mw

                  Collins - smw
I cant see this fight as being competitive, maybe Jones-Clinton Woods II

Eubank-legacy wise it means nothing due to the fact that Eubank was coming off back to back losses to Collins, but it would of been entertaining as hell

Given that Jones had already flattened one of the guys who had beaten him - there was no point whatsoever, actually. But no, at the time Jones offered them the fights, Benn hadn't gone on his long streak yet.

According to Warren, Benn wasn't offered no fight. He would even go as far as to say they neither him, King or Benn had heard anything from Jones camp (this was a week before the Benn-Malinga fight)
