Sometimes I Wonder Why Did Roy Ever Waste His Time Fighting Fighters Like.....

Gonzalez has some good wins on his resume the main one is obviously beating Darius.
Yeah as old he was McCallum was the WBC champ a year before Roy fought him, he lost a close decision to Tiozzo in France. McCaluum had never ever not been highly competitive and Roy totally dominated
DeValle had never fought anyone of note before Jones, except for Hill, and he lost, and never fought anyone of note afterwards.
McCallum was 40 years old and retiring after his next fight. This is not a prime nor dominant fighter anymore.

Del Valle was unification fight plain and simple. You can't complain about Roy for not unifying as a 168 champ then complain about him unifying the 175 belts you can't have it both ways.
When did I say McCallum was prime or dominant? All I said was he was a legitimate 175 contender and Roy dominated him like no one had before.

Im not trying to down them. But the fact is that there is little upside to them.
Do me a favor and don't make assumptions on how I would have perceived anything. The bottom line is we can on judge by what was. And the guys Jones chose to fight were not as good as the guys he missed out on fighting for one reason or another.
