      - -At one pt, mid 40s Wilt contemplated a Comeback.

      For years he'd been renting a posh gym for pickup BB games once a week. In the off season it was the place to be for the players and even then he could dominate all of them.

      What he couldn't do was take the grind of a season.

          Thats my feeling in a nutshell. A lot of NBA guys played in that league for the fun of it, and the ABA reminded me of the games we would watch in Harlem as a kid. I played a lot of pickup as a kid, not nearly at this level lol, so we were fans. The Rucker was named after Rutger's ave, or so I was told as a kid.

          The ABA had that feel and Dr J was phenominal.

            That's why I stopped watching the NBA. Was better until about the early 2000s, then they took the balls out of the game. In the 90s it hit its peak with the physicality of the game, especially the Bad Boys of the Detroit Pistons.

                    As usual, you are making stuff up to suit your agenda. A headbutt played no part in young Klit's destruction that night. Their faces touched lightly once with no effect.
